It may be smart to tame at the beggining of night if you have regular taming settings because it will wake up at the transition from day to night.

Bring 2 wolves in the morning, make a blockade then shoot it with darts.. let the wolves take the damage

Better to ko it at beging of night so they sleep threw night an the next day don't bother using narcotic its going to wake up anyway and you have to ko it again

Kibble gives 135 food instead of 80 food like all the others

Try knocking it out during day for this Dino's gets a speed and attack buff during the night

When night hit while under and full torpor, it woke up. Had to retranq it, so starve tame and be ready.

It will still wake up at 8.30 server time at night even during taming shoot it down asap to keep your taming bar.

They are good for night raids against other medium dinos, but the because of the debuff during the day id still rather have an allosaurus

The cave under Viking Bay on Ragnarok you can use wyverns. As soon as night hits, stand on wyvern and shoot the Megalosaurus hop off and run underneath your wyvern. They don't take many darts and won't be able to attack you underneath your wyvern. Easy work!

Tame it with a bulbdog featherlight glowertail or shinehorn on your shoulder these mf will never wake up

It’s a pain only at night and plz have a trap or at least pillars to separate you from it

ABBERATION: Since the map is underground they don’t not sleep and spawn like crazy in the blue!! You might get lucky and spot one outside of blue entrance but other than that, HAZMAT SUIT REQUIRED to avoid hallucinogens. Recommend building pin with stone dino gates on each side enclosed with 3 stone door frames long and 3 high. If using a ravager be careful because a mega can pull you off tame. Place a large bear trap in the center of pin, agro the mega onto trap and close gates! Ko with your choose of tranq and BOOM she or he’s down. Ovis spawn like crazy so raw mutton is excellent. Taming this is impossible with out a trap. I would use a 2x2 ramp with doorframe and these are the rexes of aberration

You won’t lose progress when they wake up, but you’ll lose anything you have put in their inventory!

It doesn't take 2-5 tranq darts. For my level 4 knockout megalosaurus it took atleast 8

Dododex is completely wrong for the amount of food and starve timer for megalos

Make shure you have the right food... Its gonna take a long time without it
