This thing is So TRICKY!!! ME thinking that when u are playing single player all ur taming process stays when u log off. But oh no no no. he wakes up when i log on and kills my iguanadon and me 😭

You can use the same kind of trap as an argy to trap one of these guys

Easy go tame all you need is a cross bow as you can out run the easily better aswell if you can get it stuck or if your on a cliff

I just waited until the megalosaurus said get to sleep then I shoot them since they are very slow at daytime then I feed them raw prime meat from the titanoboas

Ingredients:

4 Dino gate Frames (wood)

2 Dino Gates (wood)

1 bear trap

Directions:

Build a tunnel using 4 Dino gate frames and stack them one in front of the other with about a pillars gap between them.

Set the Bear trap between the middle two gate frames.

Run up to Mega and tap on shoulder

Run like batshit into your trap

Once the Mega is caught, Slam on a gate on your first and last frame to trap the bugger inside.

PRESTO!

One trapped Mega.

Just remember to use Superior kibble and be aware of its night or day taming....wouldn’t want the bugger to make a meal of you

While it’s asleep put 4 gates around it and on the outside build 4 Pilar’s with a ceiling to be able to shoot it. Then enjoy having an angry sleep deprived lizard.

Goes to sleep at 5:20, wakes up at 20:30.

Tamed during night hours, if you are going to tame it, do it 20:00 so you have all night or fully starve. If kod during night hours it will stay down. Confirmed.

Knock it out early in the day and then starve it. When it wakes up at night knock it out again and then start taming. Starve it longer if using something other than kibble. Simple

I just found this dino in the cave artefact of the hunter LVL 45. Looks like a cave update

Found two in one trip to the southeast cave on the island. It took a couple of attempts, bit it WILL fit out of the cave. Watch out for the wake up at 2030.

This Dino is mostly used for kibble they are hard to tame... you need to knock ck out a low lvl at dawn and make sure the cave has been cleared out.

Megalosaurus is verry gud when master and hate out of the basing. Damage and more damage will done if dark inside or out the side and everywhere as the well increases. I highly recomend as gud dinosor for meat and the gathering as well meat. Do it wake up you need put back on sleep seting for to tame again. You understannd all it?

In order to tame you must be quick even though the thing is weak day it can still pick you up and do some damage come with the tranquilizer darts and long neck rifle crossbow and tranquilizer arrows also work you might want to be in a group so you can survive

Bring around 20 stone pillars to trap it just Incase it wakes up on you

When I got mine I lured it out of the cave during the day, knocked it out and made a stone fence around it, worked great

Tame on aberration so they don't wake up

To tame one easily, build one pillar with a ceiling on top of it. Then agro the m3galosaur with now. When it gets close to you place a large hatch frame. This if done correctly will make the m3galosaur only able to run in circles for easy taming.

Do this at day it will lose health because it's awake at day so before you knock it out just let it's food drain a bit so you have a head start also knock it out but you can let it wake up at night if it's not staved
