They still wake up for the night cycles even in the sanctuary on extinction even though it is still "day"

They wake up at 20:30 however when they wake up agian you can onock it out since it's slow beacuse it's still day time when it turns to night. You also resume your tame and the status bar does not reset.

Tame during day alpha gave me crossbow and tranq and got it to 70% tame i was level 15 something idk it woke up and ate me no outrunning during night

I used mutton...lot faster in my opinion and it was a level 15

Find one, stay far away as possible while kiting it to trap as it will pick u up off of your tame. Trap it tranq it and starve tame it off of mutton or higher. Then find another do the same and immediately start breeding. 😁

Halloween event is very awesome. Taming is alot easier .longer night and they spawn at the surface

Easy to KO, just make sure you're on a cliff or a ledge and pump it full of tranqs. You WILL miss a lot if you are KO'ing at night, so bring extra arrows

I usually knock it out during the day or make a trap for it, lure it in and wait till night time at 20:30. Then I safely knock it out and put the kibble or mutton on it while it's still nighttime. If you do knock it out during the day you will lose the food in its inventory when it wakes up at 20:30, have to knock it out again, and put more food on it after it's out again. Bring plenty of tranq arrows and maybe another crossbow xD good luck! Once tamed they are funny with the sleep debt making them super duper slow, gain torpor during the day, and curl up into a cute ball. At night the eyes glow yellow and it is fast and powerful.

Contrary to what most people suggest knock out during the night and starve tame this will give you the most amount of starve till you have to knock it out again. Also suggest mutton much quicker and lessens the amount of times you have to knock it out when waiting

What i do is know it out as soon as it wakes up at 10:30 that way you have all night and all day then u have to know it out less. During the day lead to a pen and tranq it when it wakes

Find these cave allo or cave carno at the volcano cave they sleep during the day I find them rarely when I see one when I'm caving I turn the other way you should tame these beast during the day so they are all sleepy and tired.

If you get it to go unconscious as baby you can keep it asleep by force feeding norcos. It slowed the feeding down atleast ten times what its supposed to eat. In the center around the pond on the floating island they spawn quite frequently. Knock one out and start a starve timer. When that time finishes knock it out again and it tamed almost instantly. By the time it's finished another should spawn

Grab On A Quetz At Night Knock It Out With A Tribe Member And Be At The Ready At 20:30 To Pick It Back Up And Do It Again. Easiest Method By Far. Have To Knock It Out About 4 Times To Fully Starve But Its Easy Enough This Way.

Tame this creature in the day so it's slow once it's knocked out build around it so it will get stuck, because they will wake up at the start of a new night. Than knock it out again so it can't get you when it's powerful.

When raising this dino, be sure to watch it constantly because during the day it eats very fast!

When looking to tame wait until day time to find jt. Once you find it pick it up with a quetz. I recommend using a taming pin and darts for 130+ since you will need to allow it to wake up 2-3 times due to its needed food to tame is so low.

The dinosaur when knocked out will wake up at night but just knock it out again and it will keep its hunger do starve taming for best results

Ps they supposedly only spawn in central cave on the island i found one in single player in the east cave which it cant fit out from so after i tamed it (i reccomend raw mutton its the fastest with max efficiency) i joined another player and had them sit on it since when o run out of the cave it telepirts them to me. Same trick works when a dinos stuck go split screen then the host runs over 255 meters the limit on space you be from host and the player and dino will teleport to the host.

Find one in a cave and have someone tell you the second it turns to daytime... immediately knocl it out and tame in the conventional way.... at night time the mofos wake up instantly

Due to the limit of how many they may spawn on the map, they're difficult to find. Trying to tame them in certain caves can be problematic if they do not fit through the cave exits.
