Can someone please tell me where to find this on the island?

Me and my brother found one roaming the beach outside our base ( we play on ragnorok) we were both low level so during the the day we used boomerangs to tame it and we now have a level 71 named Big Boy so if y’all ever see one during the day just use a boomerangs it’s so easy

If you jump on them while they are sleeping, they will wake up and try to eat you. Arrow so people don’t almost have a heart attack and/or near death ride on a sleeping megalosaurus

Must have on ark mobile. Can go though caves undetected, this also works with arthros.

Do they spawn above ground anywhere on The Island map?

It's not worth it on mobile

It only useful at night but I can't even see anything

NEW ABERRATION PLAYERS! The Megalosaurus is a common spawn in the Bioluminescent Zone of Aberration, if you go there I would highly suggest bringing a strong Megalosaurus of your own or a strong Ravager Pack, these things will destroy you as they always have their "Night Buff" even if it's technically day time.

Completely useless during the day, and extremely powerful during the night. I personally think these things need to sleep less, but I like the fact that it curls up on your floor and sleeps. And it’s very fuzzy, which is adorable. Mine was hard to come by, as I HATE caves. Totally worth it, though.

Omg! They will knock you off your skiff an wont let you go until you are devoured 😭 all i saw was huge jaws gobbling me up!

On Fjordur at 40 31 in the underwater aberrant cave a bunch of the aberrant megalo spawn easy to reach, once you have a rock drake. The amount that spawned for me was enough to start breeding in one go only other really dangerous thing spawning are aberrant megalania.

Elemental Vault Cave on Abberation is the best Spot to find them. They are overspawned inside of the Cave so even the low lvl on the Map wont effect much . I found about 15 150+ in 1 Hour (Max lvl 180 on my Server)

During the night don't go outside.......you will see glowing eyes and think it's a troodon which is scary enough so you get on your take and then you find out it's not a troodon.....stay inside at night this thing was spawned by fear and death itself and just pray you do not encounter this thing it will kill you...

What you should do is kill all the things inside the cave with a direwolf or a sabertooth and grapple onto the ceiling. Then shoot one with tranqs. Make sure u do it during the day. Wait until it is like half hunger then feed it. 👍

How to tame the sleepy Boi on mobile.

1. Acquire soothing balm, either from a gift, caving, or the hunt: megapirhana (I forgot how to spell it.) pursuit.

2. Get yourself some prime

3. Go to the middle chamber during daytime. I recommend entering the cave early in the morning. You can adjust this to suit the level of megalosaurus that you’re taming.

4. Knock out the sleepy Boi you wish to tame, use balm, feed prime, and don’t die.

5. Enjoy your new sleepy Boi!

I recommend using 10 x soothing balm for this creature as if you do the tame time is 6 minutes for a low lvl

2 or three piece O meat for a low lvl and soothing balm.
