Why does this have more base damage than a freakin Rex

I found this thing in a cave and I was told they were not in ark mobile so I see it standing in my face.

Then I one shot it in the face with my over powered shotty

For some god dam reason in aberration all of these fuckers are always in the stupid op state even in the day they still walk around taking you of your tame and fucking up your shit. (Sorry I'm searing so much I just hate them very much).

They spawn in bleak falls barrow on fjordur a lot. Go down the well, grab the first loot drop then break the wall to your right. I've had up to five down in the following cave. Be careful though, there's a waterfall of death inside.

They r actually very easy to knock out

Ok my argent is name I Karen and I was exploring I found a tek Rex level 101 I was almost night and I live in Viking bay by the time I got home with the Rex it was night I was shooting the Rex to tame is but the first ten shots were stone arrows I relished my mistake and changed to tranq arrows I was leading the Rex to the bones in Viking bay when I got grabbed by a megalosaurus I got killed I respawed and when back by the time I got back the Rex got killed by the megalosaurus level 145 out of rage I killed the megalosaurus right now I am reliving how bad of a choice that was well that is my story of how a megalosaurus killed a tek Rex and destroyed me is one shot

My Dad and I were playing ARK Survival Evolved yesterday and, so we went to Ragnarok and spawned at the Viking Bay 2. So my dad was getting resources so he went to a area with this dude, take it he didn’t even know it was there. Then he saw the thing and it killed him instantly. It said on my screen, Your Tribemate (will not include his username) was killed by a Megalosaurus! So me and him went over to his body, got his stuff, and didn’t even see the Megalosaurus again!

What I suggest is killing one, then revive it, in a pen, and then tame it. They spawn in caves and there’s a lot of bugs, and bats, that will kill you and your tame. If you just want to tame them right then and there then I suggest the center cave. They spawn there, and it’s an easy cave.

Megalosaurus is verry gud when master and hate out of the basing. Damage and more damage will done if dark inside or out the side and everywhere as the well increases. I highly recomend as gud dinosor for meat and the gathering as well meat. Do it wake up you need put back on sleep seting for to tame again. You understannd all it?

Taming during the day may be easy, but it has a nerf during the day so the stats will be worse. Tame at night & be prepared ;)

How do I find it and where? I do not know where.

Here is a step by step guide for taming a Megalosaurus in 5 easy steps.

First, get some sort of long-ranged weapon (for keeping it awake), food for you, some meat and some torpidity inducing food, and an optionally a sleeping bag.

Next, find a Megalosaurus and wait until it goes to sleep.

Then, Shoot it once and then keep it aggressive while dodging the attacks and it will soon go unconscious.

After that, find some high ground where nothing can reach you and sleep/do nothing and eat until night.

Finally, at night don’t let it eat anything and keep it awake because it will try to sleep (it will be move slow) and soon it will fall unconscious again and when it does feed it your desired food.
