In Ab, build a trap two stone doorframes high, ramp, and dino gate on other end. Get high level spino with health and aggro and have it chase you into trap. Spino can walk right through trap. Megalo gets stuck.

They live in caves.

I recommend using mutton instead of kibble, as long as you have an available supply of it.

This way you don’t need to wait and you can just feed it the first time you knock it out. Otherwise you will be stressing about the kibble. I found that a level 100 eats about 6 kibble in one day, if that helps at all.

If you're on aberration and you go down one of the paths that leads into the blue zone you can find them walking around, build a 2x2 doorframe trap with a gateway on one side and lure it in for an easy knockout and tame

If you're a small mount be very cautious around these dinos, because they will knock you off of it.

A workaround for the ai’s attempts to grab attack is to stay a large distance away (though you can still see them) at all times. For whatever reason, it stops doing the grab at this range, preserving its effectiveness in boss fights.
