How to tame a megalodon!

First get your itcyosaurus as you can get closer to the Meg with conflict.

Second lure it nearer the shore where it safer.

Third wait until it’s distracted by attacking something that comes in its way (carbocermerys).

Fainally shoot it with tranq arrows to get it unconscious and tame it.

How to Tame a Megalodon

1 get an Ichty

2 get a crossbow and tranq arrows you need over fifty for a max level

3 get on your Ichty and lead it to a nice cove

4 shoot it with the tranq arrows until knocked out

5 feed it raw prime meat

6 saddle and name your Megalodon

First, go find one or two (or four). Take a crossbow and and shoot with tranq arrows (make sure they’re in shallow water). I used 40 tranq arrows, but I had a lot left over. Once knocked out, feed it raw fish meat, or raw prime fish meat. The higher the level, the slower the taming goes up. In the meantime, hunt some of those neon blue jelly fish. How to kill: find a group near the shore. Swim out, and get them to see you and chase you. Go back onto shore, and get them into deeply shallow water (not enough to swim in). Stab them with a pike. Collect their bio toxin. Warning: they can electrocute you, which freezes you in place. Go back to megalodon and check it’s torpidity (unconsciousness). Feed fish meat and bio toxin when torpidity is low, and you’ll get yourself a meg. Hope this helped, and up for noobs to see!

Try this!step 1,get a raft.step 2,get a crossbow,bow, longbow with tranq arrows, …etc.step three shoot a bronto near the water. Step 4. Lead the bronto into the water with megalodons.step 5 watch the megs try to kill the bronto.step 6 lead the bronto back to land when it has low health if you can.7 watch and tame the meglodons that get stuck on land. Hope this work haven’t tryed it yet. Just a theory!

You can tame these easily with a raft, just go out into the ocean, lead it into shallower water get into the raft and knock it out with a crossbow. And when it runs off with it having too much topor you can use your raft to chase it.

Lure one to the shore and use a range weapon with Tranquilizer Darts or arrow and keep shooting it

1. You get a tanky bait like carbonemys

2. Make Your Bait Follow You Near The Mega

3. Wait A Bit Until Mega Gets Attracted To Carb

4.When Mega Is Attracted To Carb. Rain Tranq Arrows On It With A CrossBow

I built a metal cage underneath a raft, then when it was aggro to the raft, I moved the raft, trapping him inside. Easy tranc, then safe Taming pen. Just move raft when done. Expensive but fun

These are actually really easy to tame. Find one and lure lure it closer to the shore and then just stand on land where u are safe and keep shooting it. Make sure there are no other sharks or mantas that can hurt you while taming your shark. Good luck

It’s easy if you have a tribe mate and a raft to lure him up with either yourself or your friend and then take shots once he approaches the raft.

If you go to herbivore island they may spawn close to the beach I saw two near each other so I killed one and then shot the other with tranqs it took about 10 arrows to knock it out.

I saw a megalodon stuck on the beach tamed it and now it's still stuck. Sometimes other sharks try to kill it one time another one got stuck... I tamed it too XD

When we tamed our mega’s we used our ichyosaurus and directed them into 4 behemoths and closed the door and bam you got yourself a pack of megalodons for the tribe

make them aggravated and have them follow you in the shallow end. Use a bow and tranq arrows to knock it out.Meat and Fish meat work but take longer. If they are further down and you want one, ride a sarco and get it to follow you before knocking it out

Wild Megs will attack tamed ones so if you can, then lure one into safe shallow water then tame. I tamed one today, lvl 8 so was easy to tame, and it got killed by a lvl 10 when I left to craft a saddle. RIP lol

Don’t use fish meat use normal meat

More efficiency

There is usually one stuck in herbo island super easy tame

To beat a mega is (or tame) to 10 or 21 otters with a lot of Health and high (or little) damage and you in the background shooting it with arrows (or Trank) with out taking damage (unless it was a group of megas)

Equip full scuba so the flippers make you faster. Swim away from the shark backwards in a circle, Nothing but head shots and a quick take down with cross bow and tranq arrows if you do this correctly. Their turn radius is pretty small so if you can keep moving so they ate pertually turning, it's an easy take down without any damage.
