Tlc is here not only they have bleed damage but the more megalodons the more mitigation and damage

If you have a fabracater you can shoot them with shocking darts around 2 and three and feed it raw fish meat it's pretty easy.

Easiest is to be on a raft and shoot it with tranq darts or arrows, makes a great water mount, used a level 18 and a 21 to kill a level 10 alpha raptor when we lured it into water

Be cautious while taming. Your megalodon WILL attract other megalodons once tamed, just like ichys. Make a saddle while taming so you can head to base ASAP, or exterminate any nearby wild megalodons. If you kill other nearby sharks, you'll get some prime fish meat to help speed the taming process!

Building a trap is completely unnecessary for taming sharks as they are very slow. Just use a fast mount that allows you to shoot from the saddle - preferably a sarco or bary, but an ichthy will do just fine as well.

Shoot it until with tranqs til it gets close, then swim a little ways away to reposition, and rinse/repeat. I'd recommend going back-and-forth or in a circularish pattern so you minimize the number of other threats that will get involved.

When it's KO'd, other ocean critters will leave it alone. The only thing to worry about at that point is other animals attacking it when it finishes taming, so it's a good idea to come back just before it finishes and draw the aggro of any other sharks etc that spawned while you were waiting so they attack you instead of your new friend.

I found two Megs stranded in shore an they did not try to eat me and kill me they were nice for once

How to tame a megalodon

1:get tranq arrows,about 10(for a short level Meg like a 7) then get some cooked prime meat and some narc paste

2:find a low or high level meg(what ever you prefer)that’s fight a carbom or something(that’s so it doesn’t attack you)

3: shoot the Meg

4: once it starts to run away kill the thing it’s attacking and shoot it a couple more times till it’s unconscious

5: give it the prime meat because it takes a small amount of time to tame it then

6: watch out for predators like rays or stuff

7: AND BOOM!💥 you got yourself a Megalodon

Tamed one, tried to get it to base, but was killed by other megalodons and that to everytime I have tamed it

Good damage, dps, and health, but are targeted by everything in the ocean. I mean, seriously, other wild megs with follow your tamed Meg to the edge of the map just to kill it. Same with mantas and Cnidaria. Is awesome but targeted by to much.

I don’t think it was meant to be the rex of the ocean more the raptor (Mosa rex, touso giga,) but yes they should be much more dangerous but it would be harder for beginners to try to get a stronger ocean tame.

If your going to take an meg make sure that if their is a pack you kill or lead the med that you don’t want away

Fight other megaladons to level quickly I took down an alpha with my 226 and got eight lvls from it

What you wanna do when seeing Meg(ark mobile) is get to shallow place and shoot a bunch of free hits because for some reason if you shoot it from shallow place it doesn't aggro

My Meg pack Shreds Alpha Moeder in 7 min on official. Those of you who Don't know how goon these guys are are messin up bad! Tether them to a turtle in a cage in ur underwater base and you will dookie in the eyes of soakers!

If you need to do work underwater (I used this when building bridges between all of the islands) then, at least on mobile, you can go into camera mode by swiping from the left side of the screen. THIS PAUSES THE GAME!!! You can use this to check for megs before diving in the water.

Be careful when under water if you are still new because they real dangerous.
