I once was taming s lvl 130 of these. Took me 3 hours and in the end I ran out of food and the taming bar dropped back down to half after being at 90% I just didnt have the time and patience anymore so I killed the stupid thing and fed its meat to my ichy.

I recommend making a water pen and lure it in, they can only fit through behemoth gates and can’t damage wood, use reinforced gates they can’t break those either. But yeah just lure it in and shoot at it feed it meat you know, the basics.

Ok so the way I see it is that it it way easier to get a low level and better 1 because you can choose what stats you want on the creature and 2 because they are much quicker to tame. Same goes for megladons. ( I am sorry if there is any mistake in the spelling or grammar )

Try to get it close to the beach and use about 49 tranq arrows and bring a lot of fish meat and enjoy ur meg ;)

Easiest place to tame a Megalodon is the channel at 65/15 (island). The spawn in that area, and it rarely has jellyfish. Build a behemoth gate out into the water and smaller Dino gates around it to make an enclosed area. Open the gate and lure one by chumming (kill a fish but don't harvest, just drag it) or by hitting it with a crossbow. Lure it into your enclosure and close the door behind it. Knock it out and tame that sucker

Just get on a Quetz or a Tapajara, fly over the water with a Spyglass, find a good one, use shocking tranq darts, put a fridge on your Quetz and fill it with mutton. Then you'll shortly have a Megalodon.

What do you do when you are surrounded by jellyfish and mega? Stay on an island with only paras pigs trikes and a bronco for a 100 years.

This is how i tame mine

1.bring a crossbow ir a longneck

2.go to herb island(is the only place with the least meg)

3.knock 1 out(they don't torpor run so is easy to knock'em out)

3.kill the other sorrounding megs with you longneck/crossbow

4.feed your meg some meat/prime meat

5.enjoy your new size 10.5x msn eating coelacth

Do not and I repeat DO NOT bring on deep ocean trips!!! Literally everything agros on it even it’s own kind!!! Be very careful when around electrophorus also because they will knock you off and kill your perfectly tamed Meg 😔 I am pretty sure jellies don’t agro tho 👍

Get a dolphin, saddle up and outrun the shark a bit, pump a few tranq arrows into him from the back of the dolphin, flee a ways, rinse and repeat

Use a gigant hatch frame on a tamming raft to get it into the trap. Since it feet on the gigant hatch but it does not on the dino gates. ;)
