Megalodons are aggressive and can quickly overwhelm you or nearby tames, especially when multiple sharks swarm, so avoid fighting them in open water unless well prepared. For taming, lure one into a secure water pen or shallow area, use a sturdy aquatic tame as a distraction, and tranquilize it from a safe position; be especially cautious around alpha variants.

The ones in the open sea suck, that may be right, but still be careful with them in cave spawns. Do not underestimate them, because they have their pack buff and can deal up to 500 damage per hit.
They insta killed my basilosaurus with 20k health and my 6 megalodons pack... Rip my otter and my wild tamed sharks, it happened in the cave of the lost faith.
