I’m pretty sure males can bleed in PvP, so if your looking for a use then there you go.

Females can only really be used in breeding.

These guys can collect sap but that is not mentioned anywhere in do do dex. Let's get this guys resource gathering info updated.

On ark mobile the males inflict a bleed effect, 1% health lost every second, lasts for 15 seconds. Up this so mobile players see this.

These little antlered freaks are amazing at caves, anything that flys will be hit out of the air like a WWII biplane vs. A flak cannon

These guys deserve more attention! Great harvesters, powerfull-ish if it's a high level, fun to have around, and if you are a Canadian you NEED to ride it!

It does NOT do bleed dmg on ark mobile, trust me, i have never had it do that. Hit the good button so more mobile players can see this.

Mobile players, it doesn't do any sort of bleed damage! Don't trust the guy that said 1% bleed every second!

If your megaloceros doesn’t have horns then it cannot attack or harvest resources

Great for thatch, I have a level 181 and about 7 high level terror birds approached him, he makes it look like art when smiting them back to hell.

These guys are absolute beasts, tame one as soon as u can, these guys are very versatile and can be used for scouting, travelling and killing any pest that might ruin ur day (that pest also includes lvl 90 Rex literally) my megaloceros killed one without even losing 25% health on a primitive saddle, these guys are the safest ground travellers that u could use, 👆 this is helpful

My fastest mount. Best for taming because you can shoot tranqs from the back of it while keeping your distance. Then when the animal your taming decides it's time to turn tail and run you can chase it down and shoot tranqs at it. I love the moose! Females are fastest.

DO NOT upgrade the female's melee damage. From my experience on console they do not have ANY sort of attack

They are very good combat and transport mounts. The males can attack, which allows them to gather thatch very efficiently. The females have no attack, but are a little faster, as there are no horns to weigh them down. There's also something satisfying about riding a moose. WHEEEEEEEEEE

They should get a kick attack. Especially since the females cant do any attack. Anyone that have seen a mum deer or moose with babys know they can do a hell of a damage even though they got no antlers.

Before you waste your stuff on a female remember they don’t collect thatch :( :()

Best in the game to obtain thatch. Takes 4 minutes to get a few thousand and its better than a bronto as it is able to move at a decent speed.

The females are pure speed. They can't attack, however they can jump really far. I've had a few die that way. The males however, they sent as fast, still have the super jump. But they are the best thing to ever use for thatch gathering. Its worth it to get this as soon as you can.
