Taming & KO Tips

How do I tame a megaloceros? Tips and strategies on taming and knocking out a megaloceros.
If you’re having trouble while taming carcha or gigas, carry one of these guys and they will lock onto you even from afar. Same goes for any small herbivore.
Try to single one out (unless you plan on taking multiple of course) or the males will attack you
Really good thatch collectors, suggest bola
These are common in some parts of extinction in the sanctuary so find one bola and beat with club
If you are looking for one you can find theses guys can be
found in Redwood forests and in Snowy areas.(Mobile)
You can use regular bolas on them. A couple of headshots with tranquilizer darts will KO them before they can break the bola.
I tamed one and it was white... now its brown?!? i tamed it in the redwoods and its at my base in the southern islets... does it have to do with taming or area? pls tell me i want a white one not a brown one, its kid also used to be white now its brown, or does have to do with the temp? pls tell me
A 145 takes more then 9 kibble... with the 1.5, almost lost tame effectiveness
Hey guys i made a mistake on how to tame on of these, turns out they can break wood so use stone for the trap.

I think y’all are making it too hard. I found one by a rock hill, and punched it with my fists until it was unconscious (which didn’t take a long time). I am a noob, I just started yesterday yet picked a hard spawn. I died from the cold, then got tintoberries and came back. It was a super quick tame because it was a low level!! Anyway, it died from a carno while going back to my base. It got it down to 42 hp. RIP new deer friend.
The best way to tame is with a arthro (the giant centipede) its bite does 100 torpor and when it bites megalocros's they wont run. Wait like 3 seconds between attacks boom easy megalacros without chaseing it down tested in mobile idk about console or pc versions.
How do you tame one without arge
A low level took 1 tranq arrow and 1 Dimorphism kibble. They have a majestic leap, just beware of fragile fall damage, they gather thatch and wood, great for speed
These guys spawn at south zone 1 near a entrance to a swamp but don’t go in swamp if your a starter
A great mount for how easy the are to tame. Super well-rounded. Just bola it, knock it out, give it a few mejoberries, And you’ve got yourself a great traveling mount. I would recommend a male since they can attack, unlike the females. The females are slightly faster though.
Good tame for its air and ground aoe, as well as its bleed affect for end game caves. It can also collect thatch if you don't have a bronto.
They are found in the redwoods and the snow biome.
You can find these guys in the redwood forest thing!
Trust me it’ll be worth it (coming from a person who made their base on a beach)
Also tranq arrows help
Bring a trike they can find a lot of berries that can help tame them
Taming takes more kibble than what dododex says level 95 takes 10 kibble not to tame not 5.
