To tame a cancer lizard go into a cave and look up. When you see a disease lizard, shoot an arrow at him. He'll fall down and then you gotta knock him out. Use tranq arrows and boom! He's knocked out. Feed him some meat and wait for a little while. Boom you have a cancer lizard. P.S; Make sure not to be bitten by one of these bad boys because you'll contract what's basically heart cancer and probably die. Hope this helps! -Boa

Do not leave the cave when taming or it will respawn.

It's not a 'powerful mount with a deadly bite' at all. It's quite weak like a raptor. It climbs well, but will get wrecked by bats if you're not careful, it can't escape those.

Definitely a worth it tame they lose torpor very fast but can be affected by bolas. The spot I recommend the most to look for them is in the cave with the artifact of the hunter. There are sometimes a couple of them there if you find two that are near one another and one is a high level and the other isn’t bola or try to kill the low level ( the other will fall to attack you too if you attack the first one). Bring lots of tranq arrows and lots of narcotics. When riding the megalania you can use weapons they are decently fast and faster climbing. Has a fifty fifty chance of inflicting mega rabies to enemies if tamed. Definitely a great tame

Not sure if I’m the only one experiencing this issue/bug, but when I try and shot one with a tranq arrow.They glitch into the ceiling/wall.. and won’t come back out

To easily tame it, bring a few bolas, lots toxic arrows with your crossbow or bow, lots of meat, also tons of biotoxin (which you can easily get by killing the shiny jellyfish thingy around the shores). Once you fínd a Megalania, use your bola and shoot ton of toxìc arrows at it, in between use your bola again so it doesn’t escape. When it’s knocked out (I’m sure you know the rest) feed it meat and biotoxin to control its torpor. WOLA! You’ve just tamed a MEGALANIA!!

So I’m in rag at jungle/volcano. See one of these tings and think ooh sarco. I’ll tame that….. well it tamed me and ate me about 10 times over. I’ve decided to go back to taming dodos they are a little less complicated!!

Incase you’re trying to find one in fjordurs caves, they spawn on the shores of the volcano island

It's a wall climbing lizard that I guess Is used to getting drugged. I turned around for maybe two minutes to fight off bats and when I turned back around and it killed me. SUPER TORPOR

If you tamed this with cooked fish meat, you are a legend.

Ideally in a taming pen. Keep your narcotic (extra) handy apply 100 narcotic(40x100= 4000 torpor) *quick maths* torpor goes down incredibly fast but rises very slowly so gives you time to move around or tame another in a separate pen. When torpor drops repeat narcotic step.keep fridge with the mutton near by. Salt and /or preserve bin too if it wakes try again. Worth it Ez don't get bit. Tame from outside pen. Use stated number of darts plus a healthy extra incase of missed shots or miscalculation. HIV+ on PrEP

Really, really nasty torpor drop when knocked out. Like dimetrodons but much more fun.

For easy KO : bring a Kaprosuchus in the cave with you, it can grabb the lizard , just dismount when grabbed and you can tranq it very easy. Just be ready with tons of narcos... :)

Supplies for taming: Bola or bear trap (about 15 of them), About 50 tranq darts, longneck rifle, narcotics or bio toxin, and lots of meat.

To tame these beasts, you will need to find a cave, the highlands beach in ragnarok, you need tranq darts or arrows, I prefer darts, get bolas or bear traps, it really doesn’t matter. Bola or trap it and shoot it repeatedly until it gets knocked out, you will need a far distance from them and you need loads of narcotics and/or bio toxin. Once you tamed it make Shute to get out of the cave

Use Tek helmet or rare flower to lure out. Like thyla, if you shoot it will fall

It's basically a giant komodo dragon.

Remember level ones take 87 narcos so bring a ton
