If you wanna tame a high level one of these like a 140 then go on regnarok and go to the volcano beach and you might find a few after you do that pick it up with a argent and knock it out on foot (there kinda slow so doing this will be easy then once you knock it out GET NARCOTICS QUICK it’s torpor go’s down so quick then put prime meat in it then you got yourself a over sized lizard.

Kill it.

Narcoberries are more efficient than narcotics on megalanias and other creatures with fast torpor drop rates since narcoberries add less torpor over a longer period of time.

Great travel mount, for combat, 10/16 base damage ( walking/standing), level health, stam and weight, if needed some damage

Brought 6 to abberation. 3 males 3 females. Felt absolutely broken but that’s how you get rock drakes with fully imprinted speed and Stam mutation. And if you are in abberation, recommend get it at megalania beach in rag and tame all of them. Don’t mind the level because they are all OP as hell. Now I am the alpha with tons of rock drakes and reapers all because of these guys. Have one fully purple and imprinted. And for some reason was in abberant form. Some glitch maybe.

Found one of these bad boys in the southern cave of the island. He killed my dodos and then shit them out almost simultaneously. I was not prepared with my 3 tranq arrows and metal hatchet. He bit me in the ass but I managed to outrun him.

There's not much to say but when you go in a cav3 without the right armor. You slowly die from freezing and then this almost gives you an instant death....

They can climb up walls and you can shoot off them

Meagalanias are like tree cats, but just bigger, scarier, and on literal drugs. My only tip is to keep your distance and pray?

You can climb up a wall and then shoot tranqs off for taming in the redwoods or near a cliff. This is helpful on single player because you could climb a wall and then tranq out a creature. This is useful for gigas, you can climb higher in the mountains then shoot.

Found on Island, in cave at 80, 53ish. Above first explorer note at ruin, and at the crossroads on path left of that same ruin.

Do not, and I repeat do not get bitten from these bastards! They will give you a disease that’ll suck all your health until it’s nearly finished!

People are over exaggerating about taming these guys.

1: Enter a cave and look at the ceiling(they tend to hang upside down).

2: Get their attention.

3: They have a super weak bite that does 6-7 damage and using a DireBear or Thylo is recommended.

4: Just shoot tranqs from the back of your tame as they can’t contract mega rabies.

5. Prime meat can work but make sure to carry some before entering the cave because their torpor drains fast.
