You can climb up a wall and then shoot tranqs off for taming in the redwoods or near a cliff. This is helpful on single player because you could climb a wall and then tranq out a creature. This is useful for gigas, you can climb higher in the mountains then shoot.

There is an aberrant Megalania, but you can not find it on any map. Pls give us wild Megalania in aberration!

Highly recommend for pvp servers as it has a decent chance to inflict the effect known as “mega rabies” which drains the health of the infected. It is also highly contagious and will infect other close players

Use Rare Flowers to lure them out..works great...me and my girlfriend went through the entire cave and didnt see any...then got rare flowers and found 2 within minutes

They are better swimmers than runners. They are an ATV. Really good for one-man raiders.

I have caught one in the lava cave . Fortunately my thylacoleo was with me and I brought some tranq darts. It attacked my thyla and I knock it down..

Be aware it's torpor drains very fast so if you wanna tame them bring some narcotics, Stimulent, antidote, and mutton with you..

The regular bola *does* work to immobilize the megalania! Super fast, testing out the wall climbing right now.

The first time I explored a cave (south cave) I encountered one of these right at the first intersection where you probably first begin to encounter all the other cave nasties. I died twice more trying to kill this thing, so make sure to bring even a couple antidotes it'll save your life
