While taming sabertooth salmons will attack the swarm, watch out for them if you don't want to get a second (or a third, a forth... (been there done that)) parakeetswarm. Watch out for Sharks and those eel things ,too while you're at it.

When fighting them for shell fragment farming, jump on the back of them and attack till they hit water surface, then you’ll be able to just attack sitting on top of them while it swims around... side note, if your tamed Dino clips through their model, it has a chance of auto dying... lost my 209 sarco when it was well above half health instantly because it clipped through the model of the turtle

These bad boys have insanely high hp, weight and damage aswell as a bubble breath which can push back enemies super far on land and can push enemies to the surface and stun em when in water. To top it all off they also have a platform saddle and are stupidly good at climbing things so you can use them for fights and holding a ton of stuff such as a base without being too restricted on where you can go

You must be DISMOUNTED when trying to initially get the microbe swarm to aggro the turtle. After that, you may re-mount. As long as a player (any tribe, possibly unintended) is in very close proximity to the turtle, it will tame at a static rate regardless of level. It takes ~30-45 mins to tame without reset.

I play official and have tamed a couple of these there simple but hard to tame first u want to trap it then u might need a second player to stay close to it so it won’t go out of the trap when u get out of tender distance then u find the swarm fish and u can use the HLNA drone to scan the fish to see what lvl the swarm is depending on the lvl the less swarm fish u need so if u find a 150 swarm u will be able to tame any lvl megachelon off that single swarm but u must sit there and watch it when I did it the first time I wasn’t looking and it kept resetting the taming bar even tho there were not enemies nearby so u have to keep watching it while it tamed or u can tame it with the glitch and all u have to do is do the same thing except soon as u Afro the swarm fish on the turtle use HLNA to teleport away and watch ur tribe log for when u tame it it will tame eventually while ur at ur base doing whatever hope this helps 👍🏿

When it comes to taming or baiting this to an area, be careful as the longer it stays around the area for the more sharks and eels spawn.

Just give him 1 Honey so he goes on like 90% then you kite a mircrobe swarm behind you to the megachelon and just Follow hin subtil finish

The best area to tame is Ocean: SW. I found plenty of them swimming around, including the 150 male I have tamed. There is a trench that spawns the fish swarm, guide it to the giant turtle & YOU CAN WATCH FROM A DISTANCE! You do not need to be near the turtle for it to continue taming, bring a swimming tame that’s fast enough to guide Megalodon‘s to another turtle so you’re taming progress doesn’t reset when they bite you’re turtle. This took over an hour with taming 3x. Hope this helps!

4 ways to tame on launch. Spoiler alert they all suck this is definitely the hardest tame in the game. I’m sure a few of the methods will be patched. 1. Trap it on land. Then knock it out with bio-darts. 2. Clip into turtle and feed it. 3. Find swarm and slowly lead it to turtle (swarm attacks player even when mounted so don’t die) then protect it while the tame feeds on the swarm. 4. After the swarm has initially attached to turtle. You can still swim with the turtle to tame it(works on mounts). Even if the swarm dies or Aggros another creature. But you still have to protect it from being hit or it will reset to 0%. Just tamed one on Xbox using method 4.

Swim to the bottom and aggro swarm on you then bring them to the turtle and they will agro on it and it will tame will eating them

Lure a fish swarm to tame it. You can use berries and other things but these are bugged and not intentional

Build a giant pen and punch it and lure it in and then feed it a microbe swarm. There tiny little silver fish found in the deep waters. WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR, GO TAME IT!

It gets attacked by Sabertooth Salmon, dont bother defending just leave render if you in low pop and or no ones around

Wild and tamed you can swim beneath these and gain oxygen back. Almost like they have an air bubble under them.

Build a big ass taming pen spawn West in ocean and then go south by following the wall you will find that weirdo structure in the water you able to build around we did 25 behemoth gate you can bring swarm fish inside before you bring the turtle make sure someone is looking to them when the turtle is inside bring the swarm fish near to it be atleast 3 people 4 will be amazing and easier for aggrowing fish inside the taming pen a saberthoot salmon will spawn and eat the swarm fish dropping is taming procedure chance I try to kill it but it's have more health then a normal one if you it the turtle by trying that you lose the taming procedure back to zero kill also the coecthlant as they will eat the swarm fish aswell we got our first giant tortoise and I'm happy to share with you how to do it

Go in third person go under the megach be right under the shell to the point where you are touching it look up and it should give you the option to passive tame 👍

If you want to find the parakeet fish schools easily hit an ammonite so everything aggros to you and move around until it says you are being targeted by the swarm. Then kill any large creatures that attack you and you should have you self a fish swarm to tame the mega hell on with

Taming this things is a nightmare you have to protect it and feed it more then one swarm of fish and fish like to peck. My only advice to this to find one with nothing dangerous and find two too three schools of fish.

If you are in foot it would be easyer but this swarms do allot if damage so bring good armour or a slow tanky Mount such as a Basilosaurus

You can carry the school of fish with the tuso so people can see
