For easy tame make a 1x1 about 4 high with metal walls and 1 metal foundation. Make the bottom 1x1 using metal door frames and a door on each. use wyvern to pick one up and drop it on top it's take a bit of practise but eventually the mantis will fall to bottom. Apply big repellant and have full gillie on. You can feed the horns through the door. Its might even work with normal walls at bottom never tried it. Also you could try adding ramps on all 4 sides from top to bottom sometimes you can kite it up into middle. This is by far safest way to do it without anything else bothering you.

Need deathworm horns? We go to scorched, 50 80 , and walk rex or giga back and fourth, north to south... getting horns. They spawn almost instant after kill and re/rendering a short distance north or south to next respawned ☆Stizzy☆Dinosty☆

How to tame: first get some rhino horns or deathworm horns get some ghillie armor lvl 33 and some bug repellent lvl 16 second find a mantis and put on your ghillie and bug repellent crouch over to one but don’t get to close or else you’ll aggro go up and feed it rhino or worm horns and boom💥 mantis tamed😎😎

First make sure that the mantis is free from other animals. Take care of the mantis. Hug with a dragon or another big animal that does not attack the mantis. And then you can calmly give him the deadworm horns

For a ez tame take a wyvern, grab the mantis, throw them in water and tame the mantis

Make a 2x2 stone trap 2 walls high with a ramp, lure the mantis in and replace any piece of the trap the mantis is aggrod on. When it's calm you can feed it your horns through the wall without guille or bug repellant

Can be tamed with rhino horns at reduced taming efficiency.

Best place to gather deathworm horns is the ice dungeon on ragnarok.

We made a 3x3 trap, 1 high stone door frames and wooden ramps. Ran out of aggro zone, then came back with bug repellant and tamed. Took like three minutes

Grab with a crab, spray on bug repellent, tame done!

Place a 1x1 wooden foundation, place two walls high on all side but leave one side open. Place 2 pillars where you left it open and lead a ramp on the opposite side for it to walk up and into the box, you can easily slip past the pillars and get out the box trapping the mantis, let it de-aggro by flying out the area for 20-30 seconds and replace the pillars with a wooden wall and fully box it in, place a ceeling on top now you can feed the mantis through the wall without bug repellent.

Trap in a one foundation stone box and close the door. Leave render distance for about a min and go back. Mantis won't aggro supper easy tame

You can pin a mantis with a wyvern and it will not aggro. Great for trapping and taming!

Super easy to tame, pop a few repellent trap it in a trap lay down and just keep feeding.

Make a 1stone floor and 2 walls high and once it’s in replace the wall it’s attacking and it will be a easy tame for gen 2 and for other maps

Go to rags black Beach then find the highest you can then to lead it to simi deep water then go under it and feed it a woolly rhino horn or death worm horn have fun with your mantis.
