Ok so, the wiki says that if the manticore is not landing or is glitched, then to move all of your tames to a single point in the arena because it’s a glitch where it thinks it doesn’t have room to land. Also, if that still doesn’t work, try shooting it, it could cause an aggro to you and make it land. -Ace

When I just spawned in my third time in scorched earth I walked into the arena (not knowing) I saw a guy in metal armor and a shotgun riding a terasaur it was pvp so I hid but I saw a enormous storm cloud lighting and stuff and then that FRIC KING DEAMON SWOOPED DOWN AND BRUTALLY MURDERD THAT GUY AND I was behind and well 😵

What I did to kill him was bring 7 Rex’s all above 200 with over 10k health and bring a yutyranus and make sure the Rex’s have atleast 1k melee damage helps out a lot

Is it just me, or does the music change when I am near it?

Bring 1 Yuti and 19 high level fully imprinted direwolfs with at least 12000 health.

Force tamed Manticores have drawbacks.

it’s stamina drains at a shocking pace but it’s walking pace easily outpaces a Raptor; whilst flying it is incapable of using its attacks; when not ridden it can’t attack aggressors.

But it has uses.

It’s alt attack deals high torpor and it’s special attack fires narcotic spikes from its rear, essentially making it an ideal knockout method for all but the strongest tame.

Use it to jumpscare your enemies;)

DO NOT USE WYVERNS ON THIS GUY! There breath attack doesn’t work on him and wyverns melee sucks.

Don’t try to run away from it. It’s very fast it can catch u in a sec(:

actually useful tip here:

i fought the gamma manticore. i got 16-17 (can’t remember, it was a while ago) high level rexes (lvl 150+, so probably overkill + imprinted) and one high level, imprinted yutyrannus. get in fight, get on yutyrannus, give courage to rexes, once it lands, rex rush it, then defend you, the yutyrannus and the rexes from the deathworms. keep doing this, and it dies in 5-10 minutes as long as you remember to keep courage-roaring the rexes with the yutyrannus. make sure you get saddles for all your creatures, and BRING GAS MASKS TO THE FIGHT. IF YOU DON’T, IT’LL KNOCK YOU OUT AND KILL YOU

If you have a Basilisk, USE IT. They are immune to sleeping and can’t be knocked out, I was able to solo the Alpha Manticore with a basilisks and a couple of guns

I get the dragon because we have wyverns, but why did mantacore have to be a boss, do you know how cool it would be to basically have a griffin with a pulmo tail. Yes I know, it would’ve been OP but still..

Easiest boss ever alpha has 160,000 which is nothing all you need to do is bring 20 of the same variant wyvern and you’re good it’s too easy

It’s taming food is called force tame :)
