actually useful tip here:

i fought the gamma manticore. i got 16-17 (can’t remember, it was a while ago) high level rexes (lvl 150+, so probably overkill + imprinted) and one high level, imprinted yutyrannus. get in fight, get on yutyrannus, give courage to rexes, once it lands, rex rush it, then defend you, the yutyrannus and the rexes from the deathworms. keep doing this, and it dies in 5-10 minutes as long as you remember to keep courage-roaring the rexes with the yutyrannus. make sure you get saddles for all your creatures, and BRING GAS MASKS TO THE FIGHT. IF YOU DON’T, IT’LL KNOCK YOU OUT AND KILL YOU

If you have a Basilisk, USE IT. They are immune to sleeping and can’t be knocked out, I was able to solo the Alpha Manticore with a basilisks and a couple of guns

Mission failed, we'll get em next time

Easiest boss ever alpha has 160,000 which is nothing all you need to do is bring 20 of the same variant wyvern and you’re good it’s too easy

18 rexes a yuty and a daedon rexes should have 20k 600% melee with 60-100 armor saddles

Bring imprinted Daeodons to heal the Dino's bring lots of meat, and high level rexs then just wreck the manticore!!!!!!!

I just started again on scorched earth and thought about making an army of thylas for the Meow Meow. Haven't tried it yet but if you have time to do it good luck I guess😉

Dont know why ppl keep pushing rexes to beat it. 10-16 unridden Lightning wyvs with enable special atk toggled on shred it on alpha. 10-12k hp and at least 500ml when pumped and ride a yuty to buff from a distance and maybe a rex or 2 for deathworm cover for yuty. You can fit more than 8wyvs if you build a platfrom 4 higher on top of original one and put trans on top plat. Dbl decker deployment

Always bring some gas masks for this fight

Just bring about 15 rexs and 5 wyverns and u are sorted it’s dead in about 15 mins no more and an shotty

Just dont run, its fast and will catch you, bring VERY high lvl stuff. It has one weakness for taming: FORCETAME!!! So many tries to kill this thing, and every time I die. Every time I die I always say "Mission failed, I'll get em next time" But i still cant beat this thing... HELP

If you have a mek put on the siege cannon. then load it up then let loose on the mantcore. make sure you have back ups and bring some tribe mates. i killed it in like 3 minutes thanks to my freind.

Only bobs will try to force tame a manticore or spawn one in tamed. Try actually playing the game the way it’s supposed to be played.

And for rag I’ve had success with 19 therizinos 1 yuty and a ton of medical brews, homing rockets and sniper ammo. I ride the yuty around hop off once in a while and snipe the manticore or shoot rockets. Avoid the dragon and poison so the yuty survives. Buff the Theriz and keep running and dodging aerial attacks.

When fighting this, I used 8 OP Lighting Wyverns, 1 Tek Rex, 1 Yutyrannus. They were all over Lvl 110. I rode on my first Wyvern, who was insanely OP, 20k health, 2k damage, max level, and was fully imprinted. We took down the Alpha Manticore in around 28 minutes. I did it solo, so thats why it took longer.

Pretty much right of the bat you will want to use 18 rexes, a yuty and a daeodon couldn’t hurt.

Just use raptors to kill it but it will take some time to get mutations but when done it’s worth it

You need to worry about the torpor rather than the damage dealt by the manticore.God knows how desperate I am when battling it with my arrows and 16 piles of sleeping meat.

Rexes, Wyverns, daeodons, Wyverns, yutis, Wyverns, and my dignity and my hopes and dreams should do

If you have a Mek, use that. When it’s on the ground stinging you and shooting spikes, hammer it with your sword. And when it starts flying, jet onto it’s back and keep hitting it. You could use a mek middle launcher if u have one to

Manticore is a lion scorpion like boss in ark scorched earth,valgureo and ragnarok this is only boss in ark scorched earth and manticore is able to fly rexes is a good challenger for manticore
