Best way by far is bringing as much lightning wyverns as possible. (Most I ever brought was 12 you could probably Cram more into the arena) Make sure you hatch them from lvl 190 eggs and breed them. Bring hundreds of stimulants and put them in the wyvern you will ride. Bring a gas mask or two, an assault rifle with a couple hundred bullets. A rocket launcher with at least 12 rockets. Medical brews and water and food. When you first load in get the wyverns to attack the manticore and pump the stimulants on your wyvern when itβs torpor rises. Be aware it will knock out your wyverns very easily. I brought 9 lvl 250 wyverns into the gamma manticore and the manticore knocked out 7 of them and killed one of them.
More Manticore Encountering Tips
I joined a random server and found the arena and then a tribe with Rexβs and stuff summoned it I sneaked in behind them they lost but I managed to kill it by looting the dead bodys π
Heres a tip FOR ALL THE PEOPLE SAYING YOU CAN FORCETAME IT IN THE ARENA- if u go into the bosses arena and forcetame it.... you'll be stuck there forever bc the boss gotta die in order for u to leave. :)
Bring around 6-7 or more rexs and when it lands everyone get around it and trap it. Deathworms will come and knock u back but just keep moving forward slowly so u dont get pushed out. Even when the rock golems come don't stop hitting it. Goodluck boys :)
When fighting the manticore a good strategy is bring in high level Rex's with good saddles and circle the manticore it then becomes pinned allowing you to kill it without it flying all around .... watch out for the poison it shoots at you though it will kill you off your mount like the poison wyvern ..
It's low on hps when golems come
Just donβt run away otherwise you will get backstabbed because it is so fast
Bring a gas mask to avoid getting killed of knocked off your tame
you can use wyverns (i recommend fire or lightning but poison can work too) and do NOT ride a yuty if your doing this with fliers because you are most likely going to get pinned down by golems and beaten to death
When fighting this guy, make sure you bring large dinos. Cause if not the manticore will not land. I brought mantises to this boss fight and it never landed. Hope this tip helped!
Everyone keeps talking about Rexes, but honestly you're better off bringing a health-leveled Yuty and a Wyvern bataillon. They can pursue it through the air and you won't have to worry about Deathworms and Golems. Remember to bring one type of Wyvern ONLY, otherwise they will damage each other with their breath weapons.
