Be careful when taming a mana stuck in the air. After it is tamed, it will be unable to move and will float up towards the skybox. Make sure to saddle it right as it is tamed and hop on.

Really easy to raise. It takes them 17 minutes and 30 seconds to eat a 20 stack of raw meat and 13 minutes to eat a stack of 30 cooked meat. So they are very afk as a baby and once juvi very AFK with a troph full of cooked meat I can be away for more than 12 hours with my trophs all stocked up since cooked meat last way longer.

Still worth the tame. I use mine all the time. We go out and tame all we can during events to get new colors into the line

There are a couple of movements techs for this tame. Most important one is using breathe attack right after second jump, it’s called Mana boosting. Mana boosting will let you get significantly higher than you usually can. I learned this from Rev PvP on YouTube.

Honestly one of the easiest tames in genesis 2

All you need are 2 bear large traps or more for a high level, a crossbow, a couple of tranq arrows and a riot shield to take no damage if you want.

Step 1: Find It

Step 2: plant trap

Step 3: stand in trap and wait for the wreck-less thing to bomb-bard you (don’t panic, it can’t hurt you if you have a shield and it also can’t do anything if it gets trapped)

Step 4: Now that it’s stuck, tranq

If it escapes don’t worry just place another trap and stand in it

Don’t worry the thing will come back, once they attack you they’re pretty dedicated to trying to eat you.

These don’t need much tranq darts but realitively hard to trap so stay aware taming one they are crickets!

If you use the dive it resets the boosts so that you can do three again without losing a lotta air

Went taming last night for a breeding pair. Had to manually Dino wipe the biome to spawn high levels. Even then, they run around and commit suicide by attacking everything insight. Or they starve to death as wilds which is really odd. Makes insta taming really easy though. Have a Tribemate in company, purge the weak and hostile, net and shocking tranq the breeders. Kibble is your best friend.

Use a rock drake. When the mana jumps and dives onto you it will get stuck. Just knock it out while mounted on your rock drake.

They swim unaturally fast.. They can pretty much out-swim almost everything dangerous in the the ocean.

Did you know a wild thyla can kill the same level wild mana…

Bring a Rock Drake and make the Mana aggro on to u. Once he jumps on top of ur Drake he is stuck there. U can tranq him without jumping of ur Drake. It's the simplest way to tame them.

Although this sounds dumb a stego will make taming much more easier. Hear me out, with it’s right click attack (forgot the control on console) it can stun it’s prey and force drain all its stamina flat down to 0. Then it cannot jump and it will be much easier to kite it to the trap. However you must be quick because once it loses its stam, it will start to regenerate its stamina back to full.

1. Get a snow owl

2. Freeze

3. Trap

4. Tame

When in a trap if they start jumping they loose food making it a really quick tame

Door in the face technique works

So you want to tame one if these strange creatures well here is some steps

1.Make sure you have a harpoon gun and some net projectiles and bring your option of tranqs

2. Go to ice biome on extinction and find a mana you want

Optional(Could happen). You might find one in the air and if your lucky so if you do,tame it if it’s a decent level

3.Let the mana chase you hopefully it doesn’t do much damage

4.Shoot the net project with the harpoon gun until it’s netted

5. Proceed to shoot it with your tranqs usually wait a few 5 or 4 second’s after each shot I recommend.

6. Once it’s knocked out feed it any kind of meat I suggest if quick or fast taming prime meat or kibble

7.Once it’s tamed. voila! You tamed yourself a mana!
