Use a large bear trap to trap them :)

Net Projectiles work on manas along side the quetzal and wyverns but they dont work on rexes and gigas

The only land dino in game that when wild or unridden spends more time in the air in combat than on land.

So yeah, look up, if you can’t see one flipping the hell out it’s probably stuck in the air somewhere.

Try shoting them with the net gun.

Else If youre in ASA try to trap them or

use the owl&gate method (cuz they didn't add the net in ASA)

Easiest way to tame a Managarmr!

Step one: find a Managarmr.

Step two: net launch it.

Step three: put a gateway over it neck (like you would for a quetzal) then put one at back.

Step four: feed it superior kibble or raw mutton but any meat will work.

Step five: keep it save, use shotgun.

You have tamed a Managarmr!

Very easy to tame, once you knock it out (I.e, flak and shooting it with tranqs, freezing with snow owl when it gets low) you can immediately Feed, as their food drains as they fight you.

Wild: the Managarmar is one speedy boi, if he torpor runs and your out in the open, he's as good as gone. These guys also tend to run around so much, + they jump. They're very painful to tame but once you do you have a speedy boi.

Tamed: even if after the nerf update, these guys are still SO good,

Even at 250 damage, it's ice breath can melt stuff if your close to what your tryna kill, cause the closer your ice breath is, the more damage It gives. It has 3 jumps (originally infinite) that can clear most high canyons, it can dash midair, and if you fall with no stamina, these guys don't take fall dmg which is so good,

Bugs: have you ever realized your managarmar was gone after taking a heavy beating? Like you return to the main menu, and when you come back, he's gone. Well that's what happened to me, you see these guys like I said earlier are super jumpy, so if he was on aggressive, neutral, or attack my target? There's a chance that they just go away lol, but you can find them at these places, Your base (dino leash) cause that's where I found mine, it went home lol, Above where it vanished (it can be just floating up there) or he's just under the floor never to be found again

WAY TO OP ON PVP JUST FREEZES U AND U CANT DO NAYTHING ABOUT IT!!! DONT ENGAGE IN COMBAT WILL MURDER U UNLESS U HAVE A GOOD MOUNT

Very mobile, can jump as many times as you have stamina for. (Jump high, dash forward.)

Also has a Ice-Ray. (Extremely stamina costly.)

I found one in astraeos also near the snow mountains.

I had to search multiple times for the controls of this thing on console and I finaly found it. X to jump, foward, left, or right while junping to move shortly. R2 while in air for massive boost. Hold L2 for Ice beam, if you jump and use ice beam on the ground you hover but move backwards. On the ground, R2 is melee attack. L3 is sprint. Hope this helps!

Just found one on Astreos. Haven’t seen anything about them being there.

If you have your base raided by these almost daily, I have some tips for you

1. Don’t build on the beach, people jump servers and will find you with ease. Try building it somewhere in a forest, or somewhere where finding a base is extremely uncommon. One of the best ways to get raided less is to never build in the outskirts of the map

2. Try a different map, the island is a huge target for server jumpers and will cause you to get raided very often

3. Make a base out of the strongest material possible, wood will almost never work, stone can protect you for a little big, and metal is way safer. Even a metal 1x1 with a smithy in it can sometimes help you save your items after a raid

4. Try to protect your base using turrets (plant species x or y isn’t recommended but can be used if desperate.) Otherwise try to get stronger Dino’s to kill off any raiders

5. Keep a small base hidden somewhere so you can get back on track quickly when raided.

6. Try to get an alpha tribe to help you get off to a good start

I really hope these tips can help you to get good in a server. Always try a new server or base location if you are always getting raided when you are in the same spot.

These Creatures can only jump 3 times and a dash (Left Click, R2 or Right Trigger in mid-air) will not count as one. Thei ability to glide in mid-air while freezing their target proves useful to tribes. Like most mammals they have a gestation period which means you dont have to perfect a temperature to breed them. Level pure stam and Health. (The closer you are to the target while freezing it the more damage)

I don’t know if its on all maps but on gentwo it can just get stuck in air and can’t attack or move then just fly on top of it and knock it out

For pve players, yes the nerf changed them completely however they are still very good in my opinion. A leveled up imprinted from 150 wild parents is way faster than wyverns. And if you are playing slightly boosted servers and you’re lucky enough to get your hands a 755 longneck with shocking darts, it only takes a few shots and I didn’t have to trap him at all

Gets stuck on Rock Drakes if they dive into one.

I found one around the snowy mountains on Astraeos at about 11 long, 98.6 lat. They haven't yet showed that it spawns on this map, but it does.

On evolved at least, they recover stamina faster unmounted.
