Taming & KO Tips

How do I tame a mammoth? Tips and strategies on taming and knocking out a mammoth.
A level 11 took 9 arrows from a crossbow not 6 like it says.
The mammoth is slow and tall so if you have a steggo use whatever tranq you want to shoot the mammoth. And you don't need to dismount.
Knock it out with tranks and then feed him mejo berries to tame quick
Use raw carrot to tame fast ............
Best way to tame is to net gun it down and shock tranqu
it's not that hard to spawn in the winter, get a club, get 2-shot by a mammoth, get ur stuff back and do the same thing over and over again until it gets knocked out.
Trap in behemoth gates and then knock them out. Then fly home to your base.
Best wood getter in the game, good because most Dino's gather thatch
Be you on mobile or not, don’t make the same mistake as I did.
Don’t try to tame a level 200+ with Barrie’s nor vegetables. Bring kibble. It was literally going 0.1% per tick. It’s so annoying. Don’t waste your time first make raptor kibble. 10 pieces, and it’s saddle and your fur for the snow biome. Afterwards kill everything you can on the snow biome, go back home with your flyer and request the mammoth to your base.
Kibble, that's all imma say. Otherwise you'll be waiting days lmao. Best wood harvester hands down, one outing and you'll be set for a good minute.
Get 4 metal bill boards put 3 down in a square shape with one side missing and a large bear trap in the middle of it then lure the mammoth into the trap and place the remaining bill board down to finish the square then tranq put around 150 mejos for lvl 150then wait about 50 minutes pump in about 5 narcotics and continue waiting for easy tame
Anyone know if these guys have to stay in the cold or can I take him/her everywhere?
If you have a tame they you can ride and shoot off from you can use to tame a mammoth. If you have a tame that has a knock out power especially a equus would be great to also help knock out but be careful not to hit once knocked out because it can ruin the taming effectiveness.
Use carrots or anything the dododex suggests to use to tame. Have narcotics to knock out, and tranq arrows.
Have a nice day with your mammoth
They are a mid game tame so they take a decent amount of tranq arrows but would suggest using a longneck, crossbow or a good level how the higher the damage rate the better the torpor
The raft trap as stated in other comments is the most effective method, though if taming on the ground, place 3 normal stone dino gateways, agro it and lure it between the 3 gates, then quickly go to the other side and place a gate, as they can’t go through normal gateways.
Go to the volcano in Ragnarok and a snow biome with nothing too dangerous and mammoth are comment
Easy tame once you have a quetzal to pick it up. Otherwise build a quick stone box to lead one into. Place it towards or on an iceberg on the Bortheast right where it changes to/from snow. Kill any carnivores then lead your woolly right into a trap
Alrighty guys, here was my adventure with taming a Mammoth. Level 2 Mammoth took me 20 minutes to tame, no narcotics (though I took some just in case), and 135 Azulberries. It was super easy but the only thing I had a problem with was the Rexs. So Mammoths are easy tames but you gotta protect them with your life once they're knocked out.
To tame a mammoth is kinda of easy. Mainly have tranq arrows and be on a dino that is fast and that you can shoot while riding it. And give it, its preferred kibble or berries. Mainly meoberries.
Read the shit it helps and it take long af
