Journey Through All Creatures
Chapter 14: Even Worse Suspicions
Story starts in Achatina, The Island ABC order for Section 1 and has a Prologue. This is the last long chapter for a while. Last chapter in Leedsicthys, next chapter in Megalodon
The sun began to rise above the horizon, its light slowly flowing across the island, the sandy beaches, the wet, murky swamps, and the broken and damaged base which Sodden had. Sodden yawned as he slowly got up from his bed. He walked into his kitchen towards his fridge, then started eating some crops. Then as he came out of his base after eating and drinking some crops and water, he threw out a cryopod and came out his only Carcha left, Fox. He climbed on the slightly bloodied Carcha and it ran into the forest. He ran towards Far’s Peak, and saw Serenity’s Giga standing near the rocky mountain base. “Nudon’s tribe is near the volcano.” Sodden said. Serenity nodded then her Giga started walking to the volcano. Sodden and his Carcha followed the two there.
As the two survivors with their dinos were walking, Sodden looked at Serenity and said, “What should I do?” “Well, you don’t need to stop what you want. Maybe save it for the end of the day when everyone will just be asleep and nothing bad will happen. You will have all day to do what you need to do, and can use time after sunset to do what you want.” Serenity said. “Well… okay. That sounds like a good idea.” Sodden said. “Yeah. Hopefully that helps everyone.” Serenity said. “Well, now we just gotta explain that to Nudon.” Sodden said. He sighed and looked forward, and his Carcha kept walking towards the volcano.
After a few hours, the two approached the rocky slopes of the tall volcano. They walked to the south of the volcano, towards the extremely steep slope on the south side of the volcano. Near it was a walled off base, a large base that stretched down the hills leading to the river. There were tall walls surrounding the base, with a spiked wall on the front and a gate with turrets on the top. Sodden and Serenity stood a few hundred meters from the gate. “How will we get in?” Serenity asked. “Well… maybe they’ll notice us.” Sodden said. “Yeah. We can’t just barge in.” Serenity said. Then they heard creaking, and looked up to see the gate opening. Then a Rex came out, and Red sat on its back. “Oh, god. You again? You just can’t stop, can you?” Red growled. His Rex stormed towards the two. “Red, I talked to Sodden last night. There’s a good reason as to what is going on with him.” Serenity said. “Really? You sure he isn’t lying?” Red snerered. “Look, I spawned in for the first time two months ago. You guys probably have existed for a few years. You’re better at this than me. It was not easy for me to get the hang of it. This mission is huge and complex, so I’m going to go full time with this. What I agreed to was that during the day, I’d do what I need to do, caves and whatnot, and checking in on my friends when I need to. And at sunset, when everyone is settling down, I’ll set out for what I want to do, and that is to kill one of each creature. That’s me doing that to ensure I don’t make the same mistake I did yesterday!” Sodden yelled. Red sighed and reluctantly said, “Well, come in. You’re not fully out of the woods with me yet.” He turned around to leave, and took out a remote. He pressed a button and the Plant Speces X crop plots on the top of the fences were embraced with metal walls. “Okay, you can come now.” Red said. Sodden nodded and turned to Serenity. She nodded, then Red said, “The C Tribe dude stays here.” Red said. Sodden turned around, nodded, then went to follow Red into the base.
The two dudes with their dinos walked into the gates, and saw a bunch of buildings around. Down the hills, there was a stone road, and on each sides of the road, there were houses for the many people who were part of the tribe. At the end of the road, on the bottom of the hill and near the wall, there was a large house that looked like a skyscraper, but shorter, and was very wide, with eggs on banners above the double doors. “That down there is our breeding barn. It’s for Rexes. We created some of our best Rexes in there. Too bad someone got them killed.” Red said as he glared at Sodden. “Hey, at least you’re still here.” Sodden said. Red responded with a growl and looked forward. He pointed to the north side of the base, to a large, castle-like structure, expanding to the side walls and stretching tall to the half-point of the volcano. “This is our main base. Where everything happens.” Red said. He got off the Rex and walked into the base. He left the door open for Sodden to enter. They walked in right then, and saw a large chamber, with forges and some workstations on the right and rooms for the injured and rooms with refridgerators on the left. In the middle were two stairs, going up to the second floor. Someone walked down the stairs with food in their hands and saw the group. “Hey… isn’t that the idiot who got us attacked and almost killed by our worst enemy?” He said. “Okay, I know you’re mad, and I know I messed up. But here’s the thing. I was a fool thinking this would be easy for me to handle. You guys spawned in years ago and have way more experience than I do. I spawned in only two months ago and I don’t have as much experience as you do. I didn’t look to my friends even when it seemed like they may be in danger, and that’s what caused the whole incident yesterday.” Sodden said. “Okay, well… what now? What are you going to do?” Red asked. “Well… I’m going to save my whole killing the creatures thing for after sunset and spend my time doing what I should and promised to do.” Sodden said. Red sighed and walked to him. “Well… we can’t just let you back in. Only the tribemaster can invite people into the tribe. And you saw how she was yesterday.” Red said. “I know. I’m sorry for doing this. It will not happen again.” Sodden said. No response. “I’d do anything for my friends. I will not let anything come hurt you guys.” Sodden said. Still nothing. Red just stood there, staring at him. “Uh…” Sodden said. Red finally opened his mouth and said, “Okay, forget it. I’ll talk to the tribemaster about it. But you need to get out. I’m still not over it.” Red sneered. Sodden turned around to leave the base. He walked out the door as Red stormed up the stairs. Sodden whistled for his Carcha then left through the gates to get to Serenity. “Well… he might come back. Red might let me come back.” Sodden said. “Good.” Serenity said. Sodden climbed onto his Carcha and the two walked east, down the hills. After a few minutes, Sodden saw a hill with a cliff-like slope, and a hole in it. It was one of the caves. “Should we do caves?” Sodden said. “You can go in. Just watch out for cameras Terad may have installed.” Serenity said. Sodden gasped and said, “There’s what?” “Yeah. Guess he doesn’t want anyone getting these.” Serenity said. Sodden looked at the hole like he didn’t care. He hopped off his Carcha, threw out his raptor, got on the raptor, and walked to the cave. He then took out a shotgun and walked in. “I’ll be outside for you!” Serenity called. Sodden looked back, nodded, then walked deeper into the cave.
Red ran up the stairs of his base, through the lamppost-infected hallways which were very bright. There were doors along the walls of the hall, but at the end of the hallway was a large door. Red got there and opened the door. Denine sat at the opposite end of the roon, behind a stone table. The room had a fireplace to the left, a stone table with mortar and pestles on the side and Denine holding a shotgun in her arms. She sat on a big wooden chair, and there were also fridges to the right. “Hey, tribemaster.” Red said. Denine turned her chair around to find Red standing at the door. “I saw you talking to the fraud just now. Why was he here?” She said, sternly. “Okay… he has some good reasons of what’s happening with him. He made a mistake. We have years of experience with the Arks. That guy is only two months old and doesn’t have that much experience. He took the mission two days after he spawned in. He had no idea what he was in for, and his friend talked to him to help him.” Red said. Denine growled and got up from her seat, then stormed to Red. “How do you know he won’t slip up again?” Denine sneered. “He made a deal with his friends to do what he needs to do during the day, then after sunset, set out to do what he wants. He’s fine now.” Red said. Denine said nothing. She walked back to her seat, then said, “Fine. Did you tell him?” Denine said. “About what?” Red said. “About… the shotgun.” Denine said. She took out a shotgun, but it was just a normal shotgun, with nothing on it. “What the…” Red said. Denine glared at him like he didn’t know what he was talking about.
Serenity sat besides the cave entrance, looking around and waiting for Sodden to get back. Then after a while, he rose from the cave, bruised, holding the artifact in his hands. “Okay. Let’s get another cave down.” Sodden said. He put the artifact in his bag and climbed onto the Carcha. Serenity nodded then climbed onto her Giga. Then the two survivors, on their dinos, started walking southeast to the lava cave.
After a few hours, the two arrived. Both hopped off, then as Sodden was looking into the cave entrance, Serenity walked up and tapped him on his shoulder. “Hey. I’ve got some grappling hooks for you.” She said. “Oh, thanks.” Sodden said. He took the grappling hooks, took out a crossbow he used for taming, and started walking. Then he pulled back. “Oh, wait.” Sodden said. He ran to the ocean, took out his water jar, and put some water in it. Then he ran back into the cave.
As Sodden descended through the cave trails, he used his shotgun to shoot down creatures coming at him, then ran through the tunnels leading to a large chamber, a low roof and wide room, and at the other end, the artifact. Sodden shot down the bats flying at him, and the spiders and scorpions fell into the lava. Sodden took out his crossbow, put a grappling hook on, and grappled towards the artifact. He touched down onto the crossing towards the artifact, reloaded his shotgun, then shot another grapple towards the roof, and when he landed, he shot down the bats and scorpions. He opened the artifact container and took out the artifact. Then the container dissolved in a rising ball of light blue.
When Sodden exited the cave, someone stopped him. Sodden fell over, and when he got up and brushed off his legs, he saw Terad standing there. “Would you please explain what you’re doing with these artifacts?” He asked. Sodden stammered, finding an answer. He said, “Well… just making a trophy room.” Terad stared him in the eye. “Oh, okay. A hidden camera told me you went to get the Hunter and Clever artifacts.” He sneered. “Well…” Sodden said. “Why do I feel like you’e up to something?” Terad sneered. He grabbed Sodden’s bag and pulled it off of his back. He looked in and took out the artifact of the Clever. He looked to see Sodden holding the Artifact of the Massive in his hands. “Terad… it’s not that bad. He just wants to do caves. He’s…” Serenity said, then Terad interrupted. “No. Silence.” He sneered. He walked a little away, then turned on the voice recorder on his implant to send a message. “I have reason to believe Sodden is thinking about leaving this Ark. Watch over him when you can.” Terad said quietly. Then he sent the message and turned back to Sodden. He walked to him and said, “You can go now. Oh, wait. One more thing.” Terad sneered. He then grabbed Sodden by his shirt. “You do not leave without telling me. If you do leave the Ark, I’d better send someone to ensure you don’t do anything funny.” Terad sneered. Sodden nodded, then Terad dropped him. Sodden got up, threw out his pteranodon, put the artifacts back in his bag and put it on, then hopped onto his pteranodon. “I’ve got creatures to tame and creatures to destroy. So are you going to let me go?” Sodden said as he stared at Terad. Terad nodded and stormed away. Serenity put her Giga into a cryopod, Sodden put his Carcha into a cryopod, then the two hopped on the pteranodon and set out for the snow.
While Sodden was destroying a mammoth, a deer, and shooting arrows off the cold shores of the arctic towards a manta, he saw some structures on top of the large blue obelisk mountain. He looked up and used a spyglass to see what was on it, and he saw a small part of what seemed like a tower on the top of the mountain. It was just below the obelisk, and right behind the rocks on the mountain. “Whose base is that?” Sodden said. Then his implant made a ding sound, and Sodden saw a notification that he was invited to Tribe of Nudon. He accepted and then he was part of the tribe again. “Okay. I hope they still have their shotgun.” Sodden said. He used his implant to send a message asking them if they had the shotgun. A few minutes later, Red responded with a message saying, “I don’t think so.” Sodden gasped then saw someone running to them from the distance. It was Rod, running on a direwolf. “Oh, hey dude!” Sodden said. “Wait. There’s someone else.” Serenity said as she pointed to behind Rod. It was Nesan. “Hey. This place is not safe.” Rod said. “What? We’re here to find some creatures.” Sodden said. “Well, find somewhere else for that because this mountain hosts a tribe called Nameless. I’m sure Dundo told you about them.” Nesan said. “Yeah, he did.” Sodden said. “Just find somewhere else to go.” Rod said. Sodden nodded then got on his pteranodon. Serenity got on just then and they both went off into the distance, towards the redwoods.
Time to build a new army… but Terad may notice…
Meanwhile, tensions with Nameless may rise…

Creatures of Nightmares
Chapter 18 part 1
Astra swung her spiked tail at the grey wolf, but he expertly dodged. “What does Shadow call you?”
The grey wolf scoffed as he dodged more tail attacks. “Fenrir Greyback, after some old story.. (I thought name suited him. Greyback is werewolf in Harry Potter)” he answered.
“Also, nice powers, but look at mine.” He chuckled and dug his paws in the snow, touching the earth within. Swirls appeared on his sides and back. They were a mix of green, yellow, blue, and pink.
Greyback (I can’t remember from HarryPotter if it is Greyback or Grayback) summoned large vines that acted like whips.
They snapped and Astra dodged. One vine hit her tail and the ice shattered, but she felt no pain. “That’s it,” she muttered.
Her swirls glowed blue as she created thin ice armor around her. It took much of her strength, but protected her greatly. Fenrir’s green eyes glowed as the vines folded into wolf figures.
Astra noticed how when the vines-wolves ran it was awkward. They had to keep their paws attached to the ground. Astra ran a bit away from them and darted making an ice trail, going high.
While Fenrir was busy making more vine-wolves, she made ice ones.
The ice-wolves dominated the vine-wolves. They could take any vines that whipped them and could easily rip the vine-wolves apart. She jumped off the trail and said to Fenrir, “Come on. Let’s make this just us.”
Ice-wolves and vine-wolves disappeared. She recreated her ice armor and spiked tail, now with an upgrade. As she swung the tail, spikes were released. Fenrir dodged and chuckled.
Astra was getting tired. He could tell in the way she fought. “Little girl, little girl, it’s best if you stop right now.”
She snarled and started charging at him. His swirls glowed.
Astra was enveloped in vines, struggling to get free. They squeezed her, snapping the armor. She moaned.
“Now you know what it’s like to meet an EarthPaw. And it’s time enough that you visit Shadow.”
She was unconscious by then.
###
Apollo nodded as if in agreement with catching Astra. “What’ll you do after?”
“I’ll stick her in the dungeon for a few days to weaken her. Then I’ll kill her in front of everyone. Then the other prophecy wolves.”
“What a plan, father,” he said. “They’ll be dead in no time.”
###
Astra woke up, dragged by Fenrir in vines. Tight vines. She couldn’t make a sound, though. She shouldn’t let him know she’s awake.
He was dragging her to a castle. They entered. I was more like a long hall lined with red and gold, with many rooms. There was a hall to the left that led to the dungeon. He opened the door and tossed her in.
Astra hit the floor with a thud. She heard murmurs around her. “Is this Astra?”
“Wasn’t she meant to save us?”
“Why was she caught?”
And then a familiar voice. “Guys, it’s ok. We’ll figure out how to escape. Apollo is out.” It was Prince.
The winged wolf, Pax, and Prince began ripping the vines around her. She groaned and stood up.
One male white mammoth said, “Wow she’s pretty. Isn’t she the one you two like?”
Prince and Pax grumbled in annoyance.
“Ok well, where’s Apollo?” Astra asked.
“He went out with Shadow. But I’m positive he’s still on our team.” Pax answered.
Astra’s tail drooped a bit. She was, evidently, looking forward to seeing Apollo in person.
“Wait.. I never asked.. how were you two caught?”
###
One week earlier:
“Why hasn’t Astra woken up?” Pax asked. Prince shrugged. “It seems like something like this would happen only to her, right?”
“Very true,” Pax huffed.
The two wolves were sitting at the water’s edge, not even a mile away from Astra.
They grew silent.
“And here we have two of the prophecy wolves, live and in person. Hello, Pax and Prince.”
They turned with a growl, Pax’s green swirls glowing and Prince’s blue swirls glowing.
There were two wolves in armor. Chitin armor. “Like it, eh? Used for only the finest fighters. These are the only ones.”
Prince pulled water from the sea and made them sharp daggers. He hurled them toward the wolves. They dodged.
One had a grey coat, and the other had a black coat.
Angrily they dodged. The grey wolf stuck his paws in the snow, touching the dirt.
And there were vines.
(“You fought Fenrir Greyback too?” Astra asked. “I guess we may have fought the same wolves,” Pax huffed. “Anyways..”)
The vines snapped at them like whips. Pax used his time powers so he and Prince could move fast and Prince sliced the vines with water.
Pax made everything return to normal speed. The black wolf growled.
“Yes, Fang, just do it already.”
The black wolf dashed toward them, going through the two wolves. It felt odd. And he put his two paws on their backs. He was so fast they could barely notice.
Until their powers stopped. They couldn’t use them anymore. Immediately, they were encased in vines, and dragged to the castle. The two wolves told other wolves to “spread the news of who they caught,” and other things.
UGH idk why I don’t get more space -DiploLover24.
So one time I attacked a diplo on my mammoth Manny and I accidentally hit a dimorph his entire family came and THEY ATTACK YOU NOT YOUR TAME so I tried to run away I dismounted my mammoth and ran for it I turned around to see that my mammoth won the fight and killed the dimorphs so I made it back home and renamed my mammoth, 'Manny the horde slayer' and I now would represent mammoths as gods of power 1 like =one prayer to Manny the horde slayer
Creatures of Nightmares
Chapter 20
Apollo immediately contacted the other four wolves. They all sat down and he told them the new information, and the information he and Astra knew. It took a while.
“Shadow was really a wolf.. and to think.. one wolf had changed his whole life,” Prince said.
“I’m guessing Adira knew him from childhood. They must’ve spent a lot of time together when they were younger. So much time.. that he just relied on her and focused on her,” Pax huffed.
“Exactly. And there’s one more thing.” Apollo said.
All four prophecy wolves looked at him, urging to continue.
“I think Ridley is planning your execution. Tomorrow.”
“How do you know?” Reign asked.
“..Because I heard him as he walked past my room..”
All the wolves were restless now.
“And you heard it just a few minutes ago?” Astra growled to herself. Apollo nodded. “So we should get you two out. I think I could snatch a key from a troop.”
“The dungeon has a lock?” Pax asked.
“..yes. But I suppose you were thrown in too fast to notice.” Apollo answered. “I’m going to get on that.”
And the connection stopped.
“Well that was sudden, wasn’t it?” Reign huffed.
###
Apollo slipped out of his room and wandered the halls quietly. It was nighttime, a few minutes away from sunrise(lol I just realized the wolves haven’t slept for days) and he saw one certain room. It stood out to him.
He felt as if a dungeon key would be in that room.. though he didn’t know why.
Apollo slipped in and saw a sleeping wolf, then a key.. beside the wolf.
The wolf’s coat was changing from tan to grey to black to brown to white. Apollo sneaked closer to the wolf and one of his claws scratched the floor. He froze in a crawling position.
The sun started rising and he heard a faint voice. “Apollo!”
He slipped out but whispered, “I’ll be back.”
It’s late. I need to sleep. Next chapters will be in…
Ok I actually don’t know what next animal it will be in so I will say the next animal soon in mammoth still.

Creatures of Nightmares
Chapter 19
6 days ago, after Pax and Prince were caught:
The black wolf had changed his fur color in an effort to not be blamed by Ridley for leaving the white wolf, Astra.
Fenrir had never seen her during the fight, but he did.
For a while now, the black wolf had not been happy. He didn’t want Ridley to win this battle anymore.
He knew he should leave. After all, if Ridley doesn’t care much for his son, why would he care for his brother?
The black wolf (who changed his fur to a light brown), entered his room.
Far down the hall, he heard Fenrir saying they had left a wolf to an angry Ridley. -So Fenrir did notice her.. but he had chosen not to..-
###
Astra was finally free of the vines. “Alright, that’s better,” she huffed, stretching her legs.
Prince said awkwardly, “Glad to see you in person.”
Astra nodded.
“So what now? We’re all stuck in this dirty dungeon, eh? Are we ever gonna escape?” The winged wolf said.
“Could you tell us your name before we do anything else?” Pax said.
“Reign. So now can we make a plan? I don’t wanna rot in here, and I doubt ye want to either.”
“Yes.” Astra said.
So they brainstormed ideas.
###
Apollo was sitting in his room quietly. He looked around it. Just had a red and gold carpet, a red and gold bed, and red and gold lined black walls.
-Man, my father sure loves red and gold,- he thought.
But then, his swirls glowed. Someone was contacting him using manipulation, like he had with Astra. There weren’t even enough wolves with manipulation powers to be a ManipulationPaw!
But he still answered.
Apollo was warped into a land. It was the snow biome, but with Yutyrannus roaming.
“Hello, Apollo,” said a male voice. “I have more to Ridley’s story for you.”
And the yutyrannus disappeared. Apollo saw a black wolf with young Ridley, laughing and talking.
“Ridley’s brother was also given strong powers to protect the wolves from the yutyrannus.”
Then a beautiful, purple wolf with white stars on her coat approached the wolves.
“Ridley, come with me. There’s a yutyrannus attacking the TimePaw family!” She said.
The voice that was narrating seemed to be watching silently, too.
“I’m coming Adira. (Pronounced A-Deer-uh) Sorry Duke.”
Ridley ran off with the female wolf.
The scenery changed and Apollo watched Adira and Ridley battling a yutyrannus.
Adira, a FlamePaw, was using her magic dangerously. Ridley was using blocking and knock-back magic. The TimePaw family ran away. Apollo noticed a young puppy. It was Pax.
“Adira, calm down! We aren’t meant to kill the yutyrannus!”
“It’s fine. It’ll just be one.”
She finished off the yutyrannus.
“Adira!!”
“Ridley, man up! It was one yutyrannus! It’s not like the whole species is extinct!”
The male voice spoke again. “But Adira got to Ridley’s head. She’s the reason he turned evil. Yet when he was truly evil, she disappeared.”
The image stopped and Apollo was warped back to reality. -My father’s brother must be here..-
I gotta go!

Creatures of Nightmares
Chapter 18 part 2
The black wolf noticed they had left a white wolf so he changed his fur color, threw off his armor, shattered it, and walked away.
Fenrir had tossed both wolves in the dungeon, gave his armor to another wolf, and went to his own room.
###
“Someone can take away powers?” Astra asked.
“Not exactly,” said Pax.
Prince summoned water and swished it in the air. “I guess you could say it postpones your power.”
“Huh,” Astra thought to herself. “Interesting..”
This was just to finish chapter 18 lol. I don’t know why it takes away my space after a bit. It is annoying.

Creatures of Nightmares
Chapter 17
“..CloudPaws know all prophecies ever made. Which is why we rarely go to earth, cause the other wolves are crazy! Ye must know it, don’t you?!” The winged wolf yelled, translucent from the connection.
“..No.. at least I don’t know all of it,” Apollo said. “There is a spell upon it. Any non-CloudPaws who tries to say it gets it jumbled. Somehow I know which parts of the jumbled version are true.”
The winged wolf huffed. “Here we go..” she sat tall, wings folded. Her voice changed. Became hollow and eerie, yet sang the prophecy beautifully.
“ Danger comes to fight
One becomes a sacrifice
If they are gone
Before the battle
The Night shall win
The earth will rattle
But if they live
There may be a chance
Or a deadly
Circumstance
The world depends
On these five wolves
If they lose
What happens? Who knows..
Ice and sea
Come together
Joined by time
And deadly weather
And the fifth
Not many know
Some people think
The wolf won’t go
His power is quite strong
Though it cannot last long..
This true prophecy
Is known by few
It is simple
But complex too
Just know the danger
Of the Night
For these five wolves
Must win the fight..”
And she fainted.
###
A few days later:
Shadow was sitting in his room, as quiet as a mouse. A side of his face was burned. Long before Astra ever left the hyenaedon pack, he had herded all land wolves (many FlamePaws, SeaPaws, EarthPaws, and the one family of TimePaws) toward the edge of the snow biome. He had finally taken them all to a dangerous island far away (this is real in Ark! Look at map in Ark and there are two islands. One is calm, one is dangerous) across the world.
But there was a price. On the side of his face, there was blood. He lost his eye. His ear was ripped clean off. Fur on that side was burnt to a crisp and had fallen off.
“Darn FlamePaws,” Shadow growled. “They’ll be dead in a few days, though. The creatures on that island will devour them. Along with all other wolves.”
Bam bam bam!
A wolf banged on Shadow’s door. “Yes?” He asked.
“Sir, we think we’ve found Astra’s location.”
Shadow gave an evil grin. “Perfect.”
###
The connection was stopped. Apollo, Pax, and Prince heard footsteps coming to the dungeon door. Mammoths were silent and clung to the shadows.
“Hello, Ridley.” Apollo hissed, seeing the large black wolf open the door.
“I have a mission for you, if you decide to rejoin me. I suppose you’ve had enough time to think.” Shadow growled.
“What? Get out!” Pax snarled.
“Shut up!” Shadow snapped.
After contemplating, Apollo came to a conclusion. He knew what to do. He gave a smirk. “Thought you’d never ask.”
Apollo went to the door of the dungeon and was pulled up by Shadow. Pax and Prince were stunned. But as Shadow walked away, Apollo winked. Then he closed the door.
###
“We have found Astra’a location, my son. I have sent many warriors to get her. We will win this battle.”
Apollo’s heart thumped wildly. -No..- he whispered in his mind. -Astra..-
###
“Well that was quick, wasn’t it?” The winged wolf said.
Astra nodded. “You know, I never got your name. Mine is Astra.”
“I’m-“
“FREEZE!” Yelled a voice.
The orange wolf unfolded her wings and prepared to fly away when a net was tossed on her. Wolves held her down and hit her.
“Run, Astra!”
Astra sharply turned to run but saw a wolf. Instantly her blue swirls glowed and she froze him. She created an ice trail (it was certainly harder than when Prince provided the water) and slid on it, other wolves chasing her.
Even though the wolves couldn’t get on it, they still gained because she wasn’t on a hill. Using her powers, she made ice spikes beside the trail.
Most of the wolves hit the spikes and stopped chasing, but one still did.
“Come on dearie,” said a grey wolf. She knew his voice. It was the hyenaedon who hunted with her and Shadow.
She turned, still sliding and thrust herself onto him in anger. He snapped at her, destroying the old ice ear she created forever ago. Frost creeped on her paws and tail. She used her powers to create spikes on her tail and swung it.
“Let’s dance, pretty boy.”
###
The winged wolf, tired and bruised from the wolves who caught her, was being dragged to a large castle.
Every time she groaned, they hit her, then told her to shut up and save it for the dungeon.
When they arrived, she was thrown in the dungeon. The winged wolf was still in the net.
Pax and Prince looked at her and recognized her as the wolf who Astra showed.
Prince examined her coat. “Just like mine, but I have more red..” he muttered.
She shuffled and huffed. “Could ye help me get out of this mess?”
Prince immediately pulled at net, and Pax soon joined.
Sorry guys! Gotta do the next chapter! I was continuing but then it wouldn’t let me type.

Creatures of Nightmares
Chapter 16
Apollo connected with Astra immediately and went to Pax and Prince.
“Astra’s back?” Prince asked.
Apollo nodded. And a translucent Astra appeared, along with a translucent wolf with wings.
“Hey. I think we got the fourth prophecy wolf.” Astra said.
“Eh, what?” The wolf with wings huffed. “Ye telling me I’m a part of that? No way I’m doing it.”
“Huh?” Pax asked. “What do you mean?”
“Come on, bud, ye must know what happens. Don’t ya?”
All the wolves shook their heads.
“YE DON’T KNOW SOMEBODY DIES?!?”
“Well duh, Shadow does, right?” Pax said.
“ONE OF US DIES!!!”
Everyone was silent. The winged wolf breathed hard. “Well now ye know.”
“Wait..” Astra said. “Do you know the true version of the prophecy?”
###
Shadow growled, sitting in his room. His one son, a traitor. Perhaps he would change his mind, though.
“Sir.”
A wolf knocked on the door.
“Come in.” Shadow hissed.
“We think we have almost located Astra.”
Shadow dashed toward the wolf and pinned him to the ground. “You’re telling me you ALMOST have her? ALMOST?”
The wolf shook in fear.
Shadow bit the wolf’s neck. With a groan, he was dead.
Shadow tossed the wolf’s body out of his room. “Ugh,” he said. “Wolves just aren’t obedient.”

Creatures of Nightmares
Chapter 15
(lol I sure hope I haven’t done this chapter cause it’s been a few days I don’t see a chapter 15)
Astra yelled sharply. The connection stopped with a jolt. “Astra?!” Apollo barked.
No answer.
Pax and Prince were silent.
“She is very tough,” said a female voice. “I doubt anything will happen.”
Apollo turned. He could barely see a laying down black mammoth.
“Yeah, she be ok!” Said the young brown mammoth.
Apollo, Pax, and Prince heard multiple voices agreeing.
“Is there any water?” Apollo asked. “Us wolves are a bit bloody..”
The black mammoth nodded and stood up, muttering in annoyance and the heavy chains around her legs. “Follow me.”
She led them through a crowd of mammoths to a large trough filled with water. Dirty water.
“We have cleaner water for drinking. This should help a bit, though.”
Apollo stuck his head in and used his paws to wipe off blood, revealing the three scars from his left eye to his snout.
Pax and Prince took a while to clean. Apollo used his tail to flick what seemed like gallons of water on them, and slowly but surely, they were clean.
Apollo swerved his head away when the two wolves looked at his scar. Apollo wandered the dungeon a bit. He wanted to be alone.
Apollo wasn’t sure why his father had become evil. After all, he was the protector of wolves. But he had become the destroyer.
Apollo finally sat down when he found an old mirror. Looking at himself, he noticed how he looked so gray. His tan fur seemed faded in the darkness. The pretty spots on his back were dull. And the scar. Going from his left eye to his snout. It was a miracle he could see through his left eye.
He curled up tightly. And waited to see if his black swirls would glow.
###
Astra yelped as some kind of creature slammed into her. “Sorry lassie,” said a young female voice. “Can’t control me wings, eh?”
Astra turned to see a bright orange wolf with fluffy wings. “So I suppose that piece of the prophecy is true,” Astra muttered.
“Say, ye don’t have wings?” The wolf asked. Astra shook her head. “How odd. Then again, I’ve never been on the ground. Ye don’t know much about CloudPaws, do ye?”
“Nope,” Astra replied.
“Us CloudPaws are literally named for where we live. In the clouds. Barely any ever dare go down. It’s dangerous.”
Astra was very intrigued by this wolf. “I think you need to meet a few other wolves,” she said.
###
Apollo’s black swirls glowed.

Creatures of Nightmares
Chapter 14
“The creatures are being held with me. They can’t hear me or see me right now, though.”
Astra nodded. “Ok. Can you tell me where you are?”
“It’s like a large black castle lined with gold and red. On a hill.”
Then Apollo heard footsteps. “One second.”
He paused the connection and looked at the dungeon door.
“Toss them in,” said Shadow.
Two male wolves were thrown in. Their fur was caked with blood.
“Were there any others?” Said Shadow, slamming the dungeon door closed so his voice was muffled.
“One - left,” said a wolf.
“Why - should’ve - got - too!!!!!” Shadow snarled.
Apollo, with the few words he heard, pieced together the information that they had left Astra.
The wolf and Shadow walked away from the black dungeon door.
Apollo turned to the two male wolves.
“Welcome to the dungeon, Pax and Prince.”
###
Astra was warped back to reality. “Ok,” she said. “I guess I have to wait for him.”
She slowly walked around, finally noticing she was quite hungry.
“What could I eat..” she huffed. So she ran around, looking for a deer or something similar, but could not find anything.
She then walked to the water’s edge hungrily and eyed the piranhas. Astra walked along the edge under she found a large sabertooth salmon. With a jolt of speed, she stuck her head in the water and sank her teeth into its flesh. She pulled out the fish and began eating it.
“Good enough,” she muttered.
###
“How do you know our names?” Pax asked. “And what’s with your face?” He added, noticing the three scars running from his left eye to his snout. They bled.
“Not right now,” Apollo said. He turned to the darkness.
“Anyone else here? We won’t bite..”
A small trunk with brown fur came out of the darkness a bit.
Apollo stepped forward.
“Hello,” he said.
The trunk started tapping his face and he started laughing. There was a second, small young voice that laughed too.
“Nice to meet you,” he whispered.
“Hewo,” said the small creature. She stepped out. She was a small brown mammoth.
Apollo’s gaze went to the chains around her little legs. His nose touched the tip of the mammoth’s trunk. “Don’t worry. My friend and I are going to save you.” And his black swirls glowed.
###
“Jeez, Apollo!” Astra yelped as she warped into darkness.
“I know, I know,” he said. “But the animals really are here. One young mammoth peeked out.”
“Ok,” Astra nodded. “My job is to sneak in and get you out, and your job is to make the animals comfortable with wolves, so they won’t freak out when I help them.”
“One second,” Apollo said.
The darkness Astra was in warped and she became translucent. “I can barely see my legs..”
“I know. Turn around.”
She turned and saw Prince, Pax, and Apollo.
“Oh! What happened?!?”
“We were ambushed.” Pax and Prince huffed angrily.
“And, well, you knew I got the scars.. but from Shadow. And you should know I’m in the dungeon.”
Astra nodded.
“I wonder if we can use this to our advantage..”
“What do you mean?” Pax asked.
“I’m white, and being slightly translucent, I might look completely white in the snow. Maybe I can lead Shadow away from the castle, without moving my real body.”
Apollo grinned. “Yes!”
I gotta go.. sadly.. though I wanna keep doing this lol

Creatures of Nightmares
Chapter 13
“Hurry up, Apollo.”
“Yes, sorry.”
Apollo followed Shadow down a long hallway, streaked with gold and red. They passed many doors.
Apollo’s main coat color was a dull tan, and he had spots of orange, dark brown, and black on his back. His eyes were a soft blue.
Shadow still looked horrific as ever. Scars, evil red eyes, and he was larger than other wolves. He looked the same as usual.
They got all the way to another door, and Shadow opened it.
Many wolves were sitting behind a stage. They were warriors who followed Shadow. Apollo even saw the hyenaedons from Astra’s pack.
“Hello, my dear wolves,” Shadow said. “I am delighted that you finally realized this is the good side of the battle. After all, because of me, now we are never bothered by any Yutyrannus.”
Apollo stood tall. He knew if he didn’t while this gathering was happening, Shadow would be angry after.
“Unfortunately, the hunt for our little wolf friend has not worked. I have even seen a few deer wandering. You all are not keeping your end of the deal.”
A brown wolf in the audience spoke up. “Shadow, we are quite tired from all of this.”
Shadow huffed. “You will call me Lord Shadow. Come up here.”
The wolf climbed up the stage. “So you will give us more time to rest?”
“Something like that,” Shadow replied and used his claws to slit the wolf’s throat, but just barely so his death wasn’t immediate.
“Take the dying wolf away,” Shadow hissed. “I bet he’ll enjoy his never-ending rest.” A few guards did the job.
Shadow continued to speak to the crowd as Apollo’s mind wandered. His next plan was to lead Astra to where the snow biome creatures were held.
When the gathering ended, Apollo bounded down the hall to his room. He closed the door, laid down, and closed his eyes.
“Astra..” he whispered.
Black swirls appeared on his back and sides. Black tiny stars surrounded him. The ground seemed to melt and become black. So did the walls of his room.
He was consumed in the black, concealed.
“Astra..” he whispered again.
“You’ve been gone for multiple hours,” Astra said. He looked at her white face and blue eyes.
“I know. I wasn’t planning on it.”
And Astra got right to the point.
“Why are you with Shadow if you’re trying to help me?”
“Astra, I can explain-“
“You can’t be helping me if you’re with him!”
“Astra! I can’t help it! He’s my father!”
She was silent.
Apollo stopped concealing himself. “I’m sorry.”
He held his head low. Astra hissed.
“Just leave me alone!”
Apollo stopped the connection. Astra wouldn’t listen to him anymore. He held his head low. “I ruined everything,” he muttered.
Shadow was walking past his door.
“It was stupid of me to ever talk to her,” Apollo huffed.
Shadow gave a soft snarl.
He banged his son’s door.
Apollo flattened his ears. -Oh no..-
Shadow broke the door. “My son, a traitor.” Shadow slapped his son and drew blood.
Apollo whimpered. The soon to be scar ran across his left eye, and went all the way down his snout. Blood splattered on the floor.
Shadow kicked him. And slapped him again. Apollo coughed up blood.
Shadow picked up his soon by the neck and stormed down to the dungeon, where the mammoths and deer were. He tossed him in. Apollo let out a groan.
“That should teach you,” Shadow hissed and closed the dungeon door.
Apollo groaned in the darkness.
###
When Astra finally woke up, she was alone. All alone. She saw blood on the snow, and Pax and Prince’s paw prints (lol alliteration).
Astra wasn’t sure what had happened. It seemed as if Prince and Pax had left her. So she left too.
As she walked, she was thinking of Apollo. -What a liar..- she thought to herself.
But she couldn’t understand why he would help her at first. Many she was wrong. Maybe.. maybe he was good. When she had spoken with him, she had learned important information. Was he really a good guy?
###
Apollo laid there in the darkness. Tears rolled down his face.
But then, his black swirls appeared on his sides and back. He wasn’t activating his power, though. He was enveloped in darkness.
With a wince of pain, he stood. “Astra..” he whispered.
“I trust you. I’m sorry.” She said. “Now, it would help if you knew where the animals were being held. We ought to rescue them.”
Apollo grinned. “I suppose I could arrange that.”
lol me doing like chapters 11-13 today.

Creatures of Nightmares
Chapter 12
Astra was slightly confused. “So.. Shadow made me a hyendaedon?”
“Yes,” the soft voice replied. “It wore off when he was away from you. But if he ever is close to you for a few days, I think it would happen again.”
“I wonder what I was like before..” Astra whispered.
###
Pax was waiting for Prince to arrive with the Dunkleosteus. When he finally did, Pax huffed. “Took you long enough.”
“Well, I’d like to see you dive deep in the water, dodge piranhas, hunt the Dunkleosteus, and drag it back to the surface,” Prince snapped.
Prince ripped the dead Dunkleosteus in half and walked away to eat his half.
###
“Can you tell me anything about who I was?” Astra asked softly.
The voice didn’t answer for a bit.
“I’m sorry, Astra. I don’t have that power. I can only show you what I know.”
“Who are you?” She said.
“I can’t say.”
There was silence. Astra still floated in darkness, and the owner of the voice was concealed.
“Anyways, there’s one thing.”
Astra nodded for the voice to continue.
“Pax.. he only knows a small amount of the prophecy. Even those parts he knows.. they are jumbled and mixed.” The voice paused. “He relies too much on it.”
Astra huffed. Should she believe this voice?
“Ridley is coming for you, Astra. He won’t stop until he gets you.”
“Why do you call him Ridley all the time?”
Astra still asked, even though she somehow knew the voice wouldn’t answer.
###
Pax and Prince finished the Dunkleosteus in minutes, but didn’t go back to each other. They stayed away, thinking to themselves.
-Why can’t Pax just leave?- Prince thought. -He isn’t much help.-
-Prince is too protective of Astra.- Pax thought.
The wolves finally went to each other. “I’ll stay with Astra,” Prince said. “You’ve been watching over her for the past couple days.”
“Yeah, you can just go ahead and keep her away from me, like you always do,” Pax snapped.
Prince huffed. “You’ve barely known her for a week.”
The tension between the two grew.
###
There was a whoosh and Astra finally was standing. On nothing. “Arrghh!!” She yelped.
“It’s ok,” the voice said with a small laugh. It was the first time the voice showed any emotion.
They laughed for a bit.
And then Astra asked again. “Who are you?”
The voice stopped laughing.
“I shouldn’t tell you.”
“Why?”
“You wouldn’t trust me, Astra. And if you don’t, I can’t help you.”
“Just tell me. Please,” Astra whispered.
“My name is Apollo.”
Astra perked her ears.
Then she heard footsteps.
“I have to go,” Apollo said.
“Can’t I see you? Or know anything else about you?” Astra pleaded.
And then she heard another voice.
“Apollo, get out of your daydreams. We have work to do.”
Astra was alone in darkness. But she knew the other voice. The only thing that shocked her was that Apollo knew Shadow.

The Obelisk
-Chapter 70-
Shadowmanes broke into snarls and hisses as he said it, but others silenced them quietly, and the camp went still.
“That is my final decision.” Orbit said. “This gathering is over.”
Gradually the crowd lessened as Shadowmanes returned to their burrows, several Shadowmanes cursing quietly before leaving. A few nodded to pay respects to Orbits decision, but Orbit still looked as anxious as ever.
“Train?” Moonbeam murmured to Orbit.
“Well, if these Five are really meant to stop this evil,” Orbit said, “we might as well help them out, right?”
“Thankyou, Orbit!” Nyx stood up and hugged him tightly, sucking the breath out of him. “You're welcome?” he coughed.
A moment later she let go, and Moonbeam stepped next to them. “Your training will start tomorrow morning,” Orbit told the Five. “we will teach you to fight and defend yourself, and the ways of the camp, so you may fit in.”
He twisted his head around to the setting sun, minutes away from falling behind the forests horizon. “but until then, you should all get some sleep. Moonbeam, if you could find them a spot to stay—”
“Of course.” Moonbeam said. “Follow me, you lot.”
They trailed after Moonbeam as she climbed down the rock and began padding towards the clearing.
“Training,” Crimson scoffed as they walked. “I don’t need training.”
“At least they’re letting us stay,” Spark said.
Eventually Moonbeam stopped at a large cave by the main cavern, gesturing for them to enter. “You can all stay here tonight. its usually my cave, but I’ll just find another.”
Forest stepped into the dry burrow, which had a small pile of bones in the corner. Rust came in shortly after, sniffing the space.
“Oh! Moonbeam!” Nyx exclaimed, her eyes wide with excitement. “how’s my mother? is she doing well? May I see her?”
“She’s doing great,” Moonbeam answered. “She’s back in the Central Hollow.” She lowered her voice into a whisper. “I wont spoil much, but you miiiiiiight have a little brother now.”
“WHAT?? While I was gone?! It wasn’t supposed to be for another week!”
“He’s out all right, and as cute as ever!” Moonbeam announced.
After doing a little dance, Nyx turned and bolted for the clearing. “I’ll be right back!!”
“Aww,” Spark settled herself into the corner of the cave. “Nyx is a big sister!”
“She’ll be a great one, too,” Moonbeam said.
Forest was about to agree, but instead let out a huge yawn. “oh, gosh, I didn’t realize how tired I was,” he said. he pulled off his sack and set it by a small niche in the corner. It toppled over a second later, allowing the scrolls and rune to tumble out.
Forest reached out to put them back in, but a loud hisssssss come from behind him.
He turned around to see Moonbeam crouched low to the ground, her eyes fixed on his sack. “A rune,” she hissed.
This is my first fan fiction ever so I hope everybody likes it. I will try to release new episodes everyday.
The Arctic Elephants
Chapter One: A Hairy Situation
The cold wind whipped across Johnathans face. He clung deeper into Shelia (his mammoth’s) pelt. It was the only thing that was keeping him warm. As they slowly trudged across the rugged terrain of the arctic, Jonathan noticed a distant light approaching in the distance. He started to guide Shelia to the the light, but felt sleep overcoming him. “No, no not now!” He thought. He cursed his narcolepsy. Soon, he was overwhelmed by darkness.
