Use its searing spit to kill rock golems it does full damage to them also this is a coller and much easyier to tame plus breed able variant of a rock golem kind of.

Get a skiff and ur magamasaur then go to were there are a lot of rocks when u are finished drop what u dont want then pick up the magmasaur with ur skiff and fly back to base awesome way to farm it is fast and easy.

In a certain one of the caves, it’s possible to skip the entire cave run and get straight to the magmasaur breeding area using a glider.

These will be nice to protect a line of attacking meks from a ways behind them

You can take Magmasaurs to Abb, and you can use them to harvest metal.

Harvests metal and obsidian as good as if nit better than an anky.I leave my anky behind anymore.Smelting is slow as heck,better just to use the indy forge

These guys the cockpit makes you even involrabal from any attacks even a rocket launcher so you need these for raids because they are molten tek they can damage it

These guys get around 2 times more metal then an anky, the element shard crystals give you 6 times the stone you would get from a normal rock but they don’t get any shards although they can get lots of dust on extinction I think 3 times

Use anky on the green rocks in the lunar Biome!! Best way to farm Ambergris!

Smelting is pretty bad. I would use a Phoenix instead if you really dislike forges. Otherwise, bring your own ingots for fireball projectiles and only use its smelting if you run out

Magmasaurs are excellent in collecting stone, crystal, and metal. Metal receives a very notable weight reduction. They can do full damage to rock golems as well. X-golems taking less damage as an X creature.

Their smelting is lackluster, very slow for the incredible amount of food it uses to smelt. Stick to a pheonix that does so passively, unless you're in the lunar biome for ambergris to keep them fed.

Having one makes getting eggs easy, but it is still easier to shotgun the wild ones then get the eggs, if you've a decent scattergun.

To breed magmasaurs they need to be in lava...

Baby magmas wont grow fast enough to be able to hold the 5 weight it needs for 1 food

Eats both berries and raw meat. Can smelt metal into ingot, make gasoline, etc. Eats a TON of food doing this though.. so be prepared! Gathers resources such as stone, metal, obsidian, wood, thatch, etc. I have a lvl 190 with 60% imprint, and it's weight is 1059.5 so it can hold a lot. Very powerful on top of all this. Definitely recommend getting one! New survivors be wary! This creature.. tamed or wild.. can mess your day up if not well prepared

You can activate the “Magmasaur heat” damaging effect by holding the secondary attack in until you have 100% searing spit, then primary attack (bite) and you will cancel the searing spit attack, and the charge will slowly go down, doing a good amount of heat and fire damage to any creature in a radius, this doesn’t trigger neutral creatures like trikes into attacking you, they can be killed as they don’t count the magmasaur heat damage as you attacking it.

Hold down triangle or set on wondering to smelt Iron and cook meat

This guy is probably ur best bet at raiding as his explosion does tons of damage and is an all round great mount to have (as long as ur not in the attic or water!)

Sweep sweep sweep through everything in your path run along the beach and almost die bc he is lava YAAYY

Can they smelt without wood???and they r easy to get on lost island
