Random fact: you can actually tame these with Rex kibble on mobile

3.feed it daily like about every 20 seconds

4.behold the small dude!

It is a bit better than the dodo

You dont have to beat him up just hand feed him

Put Rare flower or mejoberries in the last slot on your hot bar to tame.

First find one on the beach

Then look for a plant you can gather from get mejoberry

Feed the lystro and waif for it to be hungry again

There you go now you know how to tame a lystrosaurus

Ok so if you are on mobile, I figured out how to tame them with no violence. I put amarberries in my hotbar guessing that was like have them "out". Started following g this little guy around, and behold, his tame meter started rising!
