If u use the dino storage v2 mod and put them in the storage chamber after taming you can close out of the game and log back in and then they are a permanent tame!!! ☝️so people are aware of this bug!!

The buff it gives changes the loot obtained from drops, although it can be worse. Have a tribemate without the buff check the drop to see if it's worth the gamble.

Is having two of them spawning in the same area rare?

If you look on here right now they are saying that they are a waste of time but there was a recent update for them in the quality of life update makeing them 6 hour tames instead if 30 minutes hope this helps

The liopleurodon only shows them selves to those who honour them in all their glory. It won’t show themselves to people that hate on it. It is the most divine creature in the see, it will seek you out if it believes you are worthy. If you don’t believe me it is your loss, I’ve seen Mr.Liopleurodon at least ten times in the past 24 hours.

1 They are incredibly rare, perhaps the rarest Sea creature. They are rarely found in the Deep Ocean.

2 Its a passive tame, and you Will Need honey for some reason. 2 Will usually be enough and It wont take much. Note: It wont Attack you, but It Will Attack your tames, so put them on passive

3 Congratulations! You tamed your temporary magic Sea creature ✨

These guys do despawn after 30 mins but if you have Tek implant chamber then before despawn just take the implant place it in the chamber then whenever you want the buff you can revive it in revival platform that placed underwater. And it is tamed after revived so only one time need the honey.

The best Dino in ar.... oh wait it's only 30 minutes and guys to top it off it requires honey , cmon wildcard what's next ridable cats which can fly . Jesus

fun facts:

-they can't be bred

-their tame time can be reset if you chronicle and revive them

-a megalodon saddle can be used on them

-if killed in one shot or if killed quick enough, they do drop megalodon teeth, but the item cache may despawn before you pick it up (if it did the escaping animation before you killed it)

-they attack ichthys (idk about other animals

-they are neutral to you

-if you punch it once than it will escape

-it can take a few bites from an ichthy before it escapes

Cryopod does not work on the Liopluradon

Doesn’t seem to be clear on Dododex but the lio is quite useful if you’re looking to farm blueprints or other higher quality loot. The tame lasts 30 minutes, yes, but the status effect to boost your loot lasts SIX HOURS. It’s very rare but if you find and successfully tame it you have six hours to do some extreme looting. It spawns pretty much anywhere in the ocean on every map and only one at a time. From my experience taming them on Ragnarok the loot boost affected anything and everything. I received boosted loot from regular air drops, deep sea drops, desert drops, and cave/dungeon drops. I have yet to test it on other maps but it’s safe to assume the boost is simply universal. KEEP IN MIND, after taming one if you travel to another server you will lose the loot boost. You must tame it on the map you’re intending to farm.

Disappears in 30 minutes? Requires honey? Give you luck? Not worth it...

Alright forced joke over, don’t listen to these clowns these give a buff that severely boosts your drops loot and makes you not need scuba they have their place and they’re ment to be temporary tames it’s just an older Dino so it’s not that crazy compared to dlcs

these guys’ll give you a nice buff for underwater loot crates, they’ll provide a cool look, teach you how to shave and maybe they’ll teach you how to play catch! but after 30 minutes, it’ll disappear. just like my dad.
