I personally didn't experience this but my friend got them off by holding down triangle (ps4) again I didn't experience this so I can't tell if that's true or not

When you see this annoying insect crawling towards you just take a spear,bow or crossbow and shoot or hit it.If you get swamp sickness by its bite just collect some rare mushrooms in the swamp and make the lesser antidote in the mortem and pestle

You can just pull them off with your hands in ark mobile

They will fall in the ground and you can keel them for some chitin and blood

use Leeches to simulate the COVID-19 outbreak in America inside of ARK Multiplayer! first, find a Diseased Leech. second, get Swamp Fever from it. third, start running around the map while infected to infect other players with it. then, just watch as everyone starts reacting in completely nonsense ways and not doing anything to prevent it, just like what the U.S.A. did for COVID-19!

A tribemate can open a command wheel on you and remove a leech, like you would with your tames, so don't have to burn yourself

They can actually destroy wood I found this out by trying to trap one

Fire does NOT work. Instead press and hold the use button (Y) when prompted. The leech may be on your screen but that doesn't mean it's on you.

Check all your dinos and you should see the message "hold (Y) to remove leech. Do this for all affected creatures and the Leech should then go away.

Fire does not appear to work on PS4 I've died multiple times from the flames and the leech never dies

Last time I encountered a leech, I was riding my wolf and he got killed by some sarco. After that I went beast out of rage and I didn’t show anymore

Leaches will latch onto ANYTHING and I mean ANYTHING.

I play on Mobile, and I never saw one of these

I got one of these “things” stuck on my face and sitting a campfire fit an hour did not work but as I was heading home on my managamr to my argy. While I was boosting it flew off.

Make sure you always have torches specifically extra torches so they can kill these things and don't forget to get all the materials from them such as oil which can be quite helpful especially since you will need gasoline
