I actually WANT to find one . . . If u have a god console u can tame by NOT going on invulnerable and instead click heal all quite often. Sure, it’s wild but it will stay with you for a long time. Do not die.

I was playing with my friend and she wanted to see a leech on her screen fortunately there were 2 so she went to get them on her and they appeared on MY screen but the debuff went to her so if a leech is on someone else while you are playing split screen and the leech is on your screen,the person who has the debuff needs to jump in the fire not the person with the leech on their screen hope this helps

Putting your self on fire does NOT work look for anything but that i have a really good world and i have been sitting in a campfire for 2 real days it’s still there.

Fun fact: you can have a maximum of 6 leeches attached to you, if you try to get another leech to attach to you it will just do a melee attack

They get atracted by rare flowers!

If you have scuba equipped the leach will come off in a few seconds I think it has to be a full set

Can’t use a campfire to get off go to a Dino and hold whatever your consoles menu button to get behaviour and stuff and it will be there

Don't try to fight them in melee use guns or dinos

Slap your tame with a torch to clear its leeches

It will kill you if you do not jump on fire until it dies

Just go up to a dino go to the dinos menu and select the “remove leech” option no need for a fire it will remove any from your dino and yourself

If u want it's chitin get a beelzebufo and ride him use toungue to toungue around for the bloody grins in the green bits of all good local swamps it's teeming with them

Another way to attract them? Get ur bird (pref snow owl bc of night vision) and hover above the water (same area from all good local swamps) see them come

For ps4 jumping on a fire does not work to get leech off. I had to walk up to a tame to remove it.

For me when I was trying to rescue my dinos from redwood and i went with my Parasaur and i got attacked by these guys so i went home and the leech was on my screen instead of on the Parasaur so i called my cousin but he was no help(sorry if you read this lucas)and it turned out when i removed the leech from the Parasaur it was gone from my screen so I think when there is a leech on your screen but theres one on your dino then I think you just remove the leech from your dino and it will probably be gone from your screen hope this helps

On the mobile version use a fire or cooking pot to remove the leech... on Console and PC versions the fire method doesn’t work, nearly burnt myself to death. Just go to a tame and toggle “remove leech”. If you have multiple leeches stuck to you, this will need to be done multiple times over.
