Don’t use old kibble on this it only goes up by .1% per kibble.

When trying to KO the krab and if you do too much damage from hitting the legs accidentally like me lol..put honey on the last spot of your hot bar and toss it at him for fast health recovery, faster than dragging corpse to it.. use a ballista , took about 12 boulders for me to Ko a 145 ( approx as I missed a few)

Having a crab already makes getting more crabs easy. Make a trap, lure a crab into the trap with a parasaur. (Aggroing it on you will work, but it's not 100%, better to grab a parasaur or something like that) then get the wild crab stuck in one section of the trap so it can't move. (Body block with your own crab, it most likely won't even attack your crab)

Bam. Easy lure, easy body shots.

If you mess up any boulder shots and it looks like it’s gonna die, use a snow owl to heal it then carry on, killed about 4 before I realised I could do that lol

This was super easy to tame on the back of a paracer platform with a friend and a catapult. Our settings are slightly modified but it only took approx. 10 boulders per tamed crab, with imperfect throws, and lots of dead crabs.

Hitting it in the body and head will do torpor damage in the claws and legs it wont do torpor damage

Keep an eye on health when trying to knock out with catapult. If it gets low, throw herbivores in trap to boost health and keep from dying. Works great!

Get on top of a platform saddle put a catapult turret on it and you are good to go.

Having your catapult at ground level is much easier than aiming from above. The boulder will land a little bit above where the counterweight rock at the end of the catapult.

I recommend building a trap and using a catapult because if you hit the crab on its pinchers or legs... bye bye karkinos!

Make four stone Dino gates and get a friend to lead it in to the trap then you go behind it and place the 4th Dino gate to trap it. Then get your other friend to agro it so he can shoot the catapult at its back. Put catapult 3 pillars high

You need to have a catapult,some pillars,stone gates, after that DONT shoot the catapult at the head, aim for the body after that feed it spoiled,fresh,fish meat

I believe the cannon deals more torpor than the catapult. Saw syntac drop a lvl 100 with 1 cannonball to the head

You can knockout one by shooting with catapult then feeding killed

I advise against putting traps in sarco heavy areas. The crabs won't have enough health to be knocked out.

Finally tamed, tried all different traps but main thing is to let the crab eat you if its health is too low and come back to pounce on him again. You wont lose too much torpor and he will get about 30% of its health

You can trap it inbetween two Dino gates then shoot it with a cannon, 1 ball works if you hit it in the top of the back
