Agro into pin and ko with catapult hitting backside of body. You’ll know you’ve done it right if crab sort of squats and flinches! Be very careful because these things are easy to kill if you hit anywhere else but backside of crab. Recommend having two catapults on each side since crab likes to spin around. Or place catapult on paracer platform saddle. Best of luck dudes and dudettes!

Used a cannon and got a K/O on first shot to the face.. this has been consistent with all my karkinos, so I don’t understand why body shots are preached... FYI taming timer is off, my 140 is taking 2 hours to tame on 2x with spoiled meat, not 1.

To tame this set up a 3x3 four walls high and build a catapult, makes somewhere around 20 boulders. When knocking it out be sure to get body shots because if shot in the legs it gets no torpor, only takes damage. Use these with an anky for metal runs or with stegos to destroy your enemies...

Build a pillar trap approx 6 pillars high to trap it otherwise it'll jump out.

Help it’s on my switch,I typed in the admin bar summontamed crab_character_BP_C ,now it’s just coelacanth dying randomly and “your level 12 karkinos killed a coelacanth.and then I spawned a untamed one and now there is just the music that plays when something wants to murder you,I tried shooting it with a harpoon but it is invisible and I think not even a solid,but it’s there.

You can knock it out by shooting it in the abdomen with a rocket launcher homing missile I knocked out two that way

Btw it can be knocked out with a cannon but it’s safer to use a catapult.

They have a blind spot where they can’t hit you under there head Really useful when you get jumped

The best op all terrain being able to jump, carry almost anything, and walk underwater.

It in fact cannot be picked up by a Quetz. Don't bother trying it. Unless mine was bugging out or the platform saddle prevents it from getting picked

How many boulders does it take to knock out a 150?

I wonder if you can take to mantis with swords and use them with Karkinos that would be cool

It's a lot better to tame it with a cannon. It can knock it out in 1 or 2 hits at most. Just make sure when shooting, DO NOT hit it in the legs or at the front of it's head. This will kill it fast.

If you shoot the crab off the back of your mount it can take u off ...

Do these things play dead? I can see one directly on the floor in front of me and it's not moving. I have to go past it to get to my base... I moved in to investigate and it was dead but my question is, what killed it? It wasn't low level and they're not weak.. Now I'm scared :S
