If you're taming these use a cannon it will be 1-2 cannon balls, ensure the cannon is about 3 foundations from the trap and 4 pillars high. Easiest tame ever and op

Use a catapult or cannon to knock out. Fire at the head, and the crab will do a little hop NOT a jump to signify you have correctly inflicted torpor

Canon to knock high level, catapult for lower level (canon kill lower level)

Saw on a youtubers channel him doing torpor damage with a direct body hit with a catapult.

You knock it out with the catapult and it eats carbonemeny kibble.

A catapult is the best way to knock them out.

One of the best there is, can pick up 2 ankys at a time and on ab just go down to the blue zone and farm metal till u die (figuratively). We slot capped an anky, myself, a bulbdog, and a rollrat metal farming with one of these bad boys😂

The thing with 2,000 eggs a day

People say don’t use a cannon but there are three workarounds that makes the cannon viable for taming efficiency.

1. Build a trap with ceilings across the top where the crabs back sticks thru. You can still hit the back and the ceilings block the splash damage that lowers TE.

2. Place the cannon on the ground in front of the crab and aim up. It will hit the crab in the face but the splash damage will go over the top.

3. Knock out the crab with a cannon then let the topor drain til it’s about to wake up. Pump it full of a bunch of Narcotics then immediately pump a bunch of stimulants to make it wake up. What will happen is stimulants pause the narcotic effect temporarily. So it will wake up resetting it’s taming efficiency to 100% and then eventually pass out again from all the narcotics that are still ticking. If you have the time this is the best way to get 100% efficiency on a crab if you don’t use a catapult which takes 10-20 shots, but cannon is ALWAYS a 1-shot KO.

If you don’t have exceptional kibble, and play on switch/mobile, then you can use turtle kibble, which is way easier to get, due to turtles being common.

it can pick up anything from a dodo all the way to a stego(trikes+ it cannot including megalos) it can jump very high as well as toss dinos extremly high alot of health and weight and can transport not just your dinos but your alliances dinos...immune to radiation...you cam attack with 1 claw or 2 claws...very slow mouny though
