They seem to have a bug where a Sarco just stands under them so the can’t attack them somehow. I lost 2 craps to a lvl 10 sarco because of that.....

Use a trap, catapult and net gun. Net gun them to where their butt is facing you and aim for body. That's one of the easiest ways I know

Cannon balls should only take one regardless of level, but has a chance of killing if the creature is lower level.

When you are raising the juvenile forms of these, they only eat RAW meat. They will starve if you try to feed them cooked meat from feeding troughs.

To the guy who said that he placed turrets to kill a karkinos. Karkinoses take 10% projectile damage so a turret bullet will only deal 10 damage to it so sort of a waste. The best way to kill one is to use another one thats around the same level or higher even a lower one will work but not as well and belive me your going to be wanting to kill lots of these as each on gives you like 10 to 50 organic polmer and lots of chitin when harvested with another karkinos.

You can knock it out with a rocket launch

When on a tame don't shoot at it otherwise it'll pick you instead.

On gen 2 you can use the tek punch to knock it out

The king of throwing people out of your base and can jump very high to save them

Brilliant stone farm. Pick up a doedicurus in both of its hands and then walk near rocks. The doedicurus break the rocks and you get stone. Lots of stone.

When u pick up velons and u put on agro and turret mode with high stam u basically got crab with miniguns

You can trap them with the Netgun! Just place the catapult and lure the Karkinos in front of it. Then hit it with the Netgun and now you can knock him out very easy with the catapult or cannon :)

I'd call these guys a must tame for abby. Might not look like it but these guys are probably the most mobile or atleast have the most verticality (can jump very high) in abberation excluding rock drakes. Also, good carry weight, can carry 2 ankys at a time making metal runs extremly easy (ankys auto-harvest metal if you have them on wandering, so put them on wandering, pick them up with the crab and go near metal nodes. He can throw them, go to them, pick them up, throw them up again over and over if its too much weight and you want to head home.) But do be wary, they can pick you up and they will kill you if they do and you dont have some sort of security measure like a tamed spino nearby to target the crab if something goes wrong with trapping it.

A catapult turret is the way to go with this Crab! Get it up close and blast its body with rocks! Be careful of where you aim, because if you hit it legs, it will take massive damage! You might want to lay down a trap so it doesn't scuttle away.

Catapults don’t work atm on Asc. 1 shot with a canon drops high level.
