Kapros are surprisingly good early game I recommend getting one as soon as you unlock the shield they can save you from raptors and provide as a fast early water tame for rivers

It is surprisinly good on farming meat from small creatures thx to these guys i got meat for all my carnivores with only dodos

You must go swarm with triceratop

I flew over a swamp and um kapros dont see me even when im legit ON TOP OF EM- Their blind but in fact that fly higher above the swamp to you wont be seen by not blind kapros.

Have about three of these, and they make really good pack hunters especially when mate boosted and paired with a Sarco. Can pretty much kill anything that isn't a giga, or an alpha with a pack of these.

So, I use two groups of three set on wander to guard the large space inside our base. They are good for that role as well as many others. They almost always lunge at enemies, dealing a quick 300 damage, draining stamina, and snaring things raptor sized or smaller. Good to pair with a microraptor, as kapros are not very fast after the first lunge.

These thing have friggin calves of steel

After dash jumping for two seconds the kap will hit a invisible leadge and lose momentum so you can’t soar forever

By far one of the best tames high damage ability to grab small Dino's and fairly easy knock out just let it grab u and bola it hp will be a problem however

Great for low lvl survivors looking to get animals into a pen. While easier to tame then a pteranodon or argentaivs. Sadly this only works on PvP worlds which are usually the hardest to thrive on?

Can be picked up with an argen and are vary useful. Can carry small tames in its mouth and can easily take on low level spino's and Rex's, if you get a high level one. Just pick up with argen tranq it, collect prime and have a nice level one in about an hour on double.

Their special attack can be used to travel fair quickly during sandstorms on scorched earth

Warning they like to hang out at the pounds or water at scorched earth so always come prepared when getting water from a water source

Don't go in the swamps with medium size tames, no matter the lvl. These things you take you out of your mount, kill you and team up with titanoboas, baryonix and sarco to kill your tame. I lost a 156 lvl sabertooth this way and almost lost my 204 lvl frog.

Not the best on health. Upgrades are necessary.

This is a very useful mount, especially in PvP. It has a special jump attack, which can grab players and hold them, or knock them of their mounts. It doesn't have much health though. It is fast on land and in the water, however increasing movement speed doesn't affect swimming speed.

If you want one that is good for going far/escaping, only upgrade stamina, I have a lvl 70 with 0% imprinting and it already has 2k stamina

Just tamed a Kapro to pick up an Ichthy stuck in a small patch of water. Didn’t work. Wasted so many hours of my life cause the wiki is incorrect… ugh

I love these guys!! They're my 3rd favorite tame, right next to spinos and dire wolves!! Awesome swimmers and super fast!! Leveled up, they are formidable opponents. (Especially when you have an army of them lol)
