These tames are good to defend your base leave several on the setting to attack anyone attacking your base because they can jump and dismount attacker I left some on the roof and they picked attackers off there flying tames and my turrets did the rest
If you ever find a guy who asks if you wanna get in a van heโs just a kapro in disguise
Mobile tamer:
Since it can pick things up, and has mounted combat. You can pick up small dinos, move them around and tranq them while in the kapro's mouth.
They can grab raptors and they can leap REALLY far
These guys are perfect for traveling around the map, you can jump off a cliff and not die with their leap attack. I have a level 8 I believe and have explored very far from my base, came back with a crap load of electronics and stuff from tek parasaurs I killed. Very useful and would recommend. To tame you just need to keep your distance from it and avoid its leap attack as best as you can, they don't run that fast so just shoot it with some tranq arrows till it's knocked out. ^so people see
They are really good for Trilobites. The pounce means they move very quickly on land and are fast swimmers. Once they grab a Trilobite they walk in a circle with them in there mouth till it dies. No more chasing them across the beaches.
The kaprosuchus is a pretty versatile tame that can be used most effectively as a terrestrial killing machine but also works for fishing (not recommended, mainly because of piranhas and baryonyx) and caving. For the kapro to be a good tame however, youโll need to tame one that is a relatively high level since kapros at level up to 90 usually only have hp ranging from 200 to 600 in the wild.
But how do you actually use it to fight things effectively?
Well the leap attack and the idle grab can pick up pretty much anything the size of a raptor or smaller but the leap can also be utilized for a combo of sorts or getting out of sticky situations. The combo Iโm talking about is really just using the leap on something too big to be picked up, following up with an m1 attack. When fighting something larger than the kapro you need to spam the leap in between regular attacks to do extra damage as much as you possibly can and itโll make you pretty much impossible to kill for a lot of creatures (Iโve killed therizinos with this method on a lvl 230 kapro)
The leap can also be used for a more cautious approach to combat but leaping towards something, running away and leaping back in, run away, leap attack, run away and I think you get the point now lol. You can also do the opposite and run towards things, do some m1โs, leap away and repeat. Both these methods will slow down the rate that you kill things but itโll also make you take less damage if you do it right so itโs worth it mainly if thereโs a lot of threats in the area.
My favorite use of the leap though is the possibility to just utterly jumpscare small creatures, grabbing them in your mouth in the process and eat them alive with no resistance. Works with players too but be careful because players might be able to defend themselves, so be careful who you pick up.
The kapro is useful for a lot of caves because of the grabbing and leaping letting you escape danger and PICK UP any araneo and a bunch of other cave creatures and kill them pretty easily.
Thatโs all from me! I hope this made you
they have leap and a grab.
To do the leap swipe up and it will leap(can also grab Dinos)
to do the grab swipe down and it will grab.
Itโs also good at swimming.
And does around 40 damage when tamed.(normal attack)
They are hated for grabbing players but they are amazing tames to have.
Hope you liked this because I just tamed one of these.
