Just use the oldest trick in the book get on high ground and tranq it

Dododex is wrong because I tamed a kaprosuchus with 3 raw prime meat level 13 and the speed is absurd if you only level up its speed:)

How 2 Tame the Florida Puppy!

Materials: Tranq arrows or darts, bow, crossbow or rifle, meat, bola if on mobile

1) locate kapro

2) lure it out of the swamp

3) bola it (optional) and fill it with tranqs

4)shove food down it’s throat

How to tame:

1. Craft Bola

2. Yeet at kapro

3. Tranq it

4. Put lotsa meat in inventory

5. Use it to destroy the island

First, wait for it to carry you in its mouth then, start beating it with a club or shoot it with tranq arrows, make sure to give it some bio toxin or narco berrys

Swamps are crazy places to go, gotta be crazy to go there, but I did, wanted to find a Kappa to replace the one that got eating by a Thermo. Second time looking for one and finding only Sarcos so I decide to finally tame one, get one down and tame underway and a Baryonyx shows up, had only just been researching it the nigbt before as my next tame so tackle him get it down and tame underway, then a Kappa bowls me over, struggling now but finally get him down and tame. Walked out of the swamp with the three, that was enough for the morning.

I tamed a lvl 2 with like 150 meat and 0 narcotics, but it took way too long! Uhhh, easy taming? Sure. Quick taming? Nope.

Easy kapro taming

1. Get meat, a crossbow, and 10 to 50 tranqs, and a bed

2. Find a good swamp where kapros spawn

3. Find a safe place to set down the bed. Now you have a respon point

4. Find a good kapro

5. Let him (or her!) pick you up

6. Keep shooting tranqs at its head

7. Feed it raw or prime meat

8. Name it based off of its color

9. Make its saddle

10. Take your kapro out for a spin

They will eat your soul if you like it or not

I ended up taming a level 100 Kapro on Crystal Isles. I was scouting with my level 230 (approximate) pteranodon — oddly enough, I found a lone one just off of the shore in the shoals biome (this area was a bit close to a swamp, so). They are very scary in the water, as they will leap right out of it in an attempt to attack you and your tame granted that you are close enough to the ocean’s surface. I led one onto the beach and was lucky enough to find a tall enough rock to land upon so that the aggravated creature couldn’t reach me. It took several tranq arrows to knock it out using a crossbow. After assuring that the area around me was clear and there weren’t any more threats, I had easily tamed it with a stack of raw meat and carefully led it back to my base. It was easier than I had expected to tame one, even as it was a high level. The advice I would give other players is that if you are going to lead one to a tall rock so you can tranquilize one without getting attacked, I’d still be careful to make the best judgement call with the rock and be 100% positive that it has no parts of it that the creature can pounce onto and find its way to you. By the way, I’m pretty new to Ark still, so my strategy may not be that professional — but I hope it helps other new players!

These are completely savage.. I was barely in a swamp biome and all of a sudden im being launched at by this arsehole, next thing I know im back in the middle of the river

How to tame

1.pee your pants

2.grab with an argentavis .putt in taming pen

4.tranq out. Notice:they will and can jump over the taming pen walls

Have a friend and you play jump jousting very fun

I have tamed two of these if you have a sarco you can use it by clearing out the area and it is easier if it is attacking a snail clear out the trees because it would be a lot easier to shoot all you need is a bow and arrow use tranq arrows and then start shooting it I would take about 10 15 tranq arrows then once it is knocked out put about 60 meat in its inventory and wait about 2,3,4 minutes and you have a kaprosuchus I have a level 74 and 48 it’s jump attack is it’s strongest attack I hope this was helpful

This will only work if, 1, the kaprosuchus is low level, 2,you are a high level, so when the kaprosuchus grabs you, punch it out, it works, make sure you aren’t near any mean creatures, or it will die, hope you can do it!
