For Taking. Use tranquilizing darts. I have an ascendant crossbow and kept killing them by accident. As it seems it takes a lot of tranq arrows take one down. But when using tranq darts it took couple shots but did trick.

The best spot to tame one is on the little island in the corner of the north biodome. Which pretty much is penguin island. Nothing really pops up there to bother you unless you count the ocean. Also dododex does say it has a high tampour drop, but if you have some raw prime meat on you it isn't going to be a problem. Tamed a lv110 it's only 5 pieces of raw prime.

In mobile if your looking for these go to the snow then go to the snow island. Also these things drop organic polymer.

If anyone doesn’t know, you get organic polymer from these guys, and clubs get the most of it I think. (You have to kill them ofc)

Arks nauteral torpedo have c4 on it then make it go toward a enemy raft and boom (put all points in speed)

Tranq darts do not work. Killed 20 of them with body shots and another 20 with headshots.

Baby penguins drop prime meat so bring any but taming food

If you want to use them for polymer harvest their bodies with a wooden club and you will get more polymer than normal!

Idk if sm1 has said this but if you hit them with a club they give you polymer

Make fertile eggs and stick them in refridgerator,in there they will last 800 days so you can stock 48 per fridge. Then just hatch when you need polymer.

it may be brutal but if you're trying to get organic polymer and you kill one of these in one hit, the other kairukus won't panic and run away. they only run away if you hurt one and it doesn't die. same goes for dodos

There things will provide warmth in the snow,so tame them if you spawn there

easy to tame just knock it out then feed it raw fish or raw meat ether one get about 5-7 females and 1-2 males and bang you have a mass horde of Kairuku / penguins

The wiki says that you cannot tame them unless they are adults. Well I call B.S. because I tamed a baby Kairuku/Penguin by just shooting it with Tranquilizer arrows until it fell asleep and offered it meat. Don’t trust what the people on the wiki say unless it’s from a trusted source.
