Guys definitely a must-tame for beginners. They are incredibly swift and can outrun/ move faster than most predators youβll encounter. You can usually find them in heard and are fantastic at getting all berries and fiber they are a must Iβm high level and I still use them
Upgrade weight and speed, you'll have yourself one badass hybrid parasaur gallimimus thing for an early game metal run.
Iguanodon is a very useful dino. Its strong, fast, have a lot of stamina, can jump really high, can collect a ton of berries, can turn it to seeds, when u need, and poop for u big eggs. :D A must-have creature in the game.
It is like a parasaur, but better. It can jump and attack in one mode, then runs super fast with unlimited stam in the other.
BEST STARTER PET EVER! Whoop whoop! I have a level 33 and heβs AWESOME. For starters they can jump over wooden and stone Dino gates... Great for raids! (Not bethmoth) Also they make seeds! Super fast on four legs. Super easy to bola then knock with a bat. Or fists or yknow. One more thing, Thereβs AMAZING at getting berries. I got like 500 from about 5 bushes. Mines named diet of air and we go exploring on my raft. GREAT TAME! π
This dinosaur is great. It can run fast, almost never run out of energy, jump, carry a decent about of weight, and collect a bunch of berries. If you need to travel long distance, I would use an Iguanodon.
THE PARASAUR YOU NEVER USED JUST GOT REPLACED
Really really early in the game, as a brand new noob, I discovered a level 23 iguanodon and looked it up here. The reviews were so good that I immediately resumed the game and beat the snot out of it until it fell asleep, then tamed it with mejoberries. Now itβs my personal rank, named βIggy.β Nothing has stopped it yet- except a gang of compys and a few giant ants. But the game crashed and when I reloaded it I had iggy back.
I've always found the Iguanodon charming. Even though it is weak in the grand scheme of things in ARK, it is one of, if not the best beginner's tame in the game. It has two modes: Quadruped and Biped. The base stance is Quadruped. In this mode, you are less agile, but are extremely quick. And the best part is, you have infinite stamina! You can run as far as you like in Quadruped. The Biped mode is toggled with right click (or left trigger on console.) In this stance, you are slower, but are more agile and able to attack and gather berries. Stamina is consumed, but only at a rate of 3 stamina a second. Regardless of the mode, the Iguanodon is a farmer's best friend. It is able to convert berries into seeds, sparing time from trying to gather them normally. It's strong points are speed, stamina, and weight. It's weak point is health, with okay melee. Overall, the Iguanodon is a good mount for beginners and those in midgame. And I didn't know when to say this, but it has a cute roar too.
this is a very strange dino. First it turns any berries in its inventory into seeds. Next it has the ability to change from attack mode to "super speed need no stam" and that's all.
