In the wild, I can’t think of anything more annoying. Once their tamed they have an ability so that they can kill dodos and you can get prime meat for it.

It is pretty useful for taming the pelagornis or baryonyx.

Vital for taming, Icthyornises get prime meat by the stack from killing dodos or celos. If you want to tame Rexes, Carnos, or any carnivore really- have one of these birbs.

Tame a ichthyornis. It does two things: hunt and hunt and retrieve

Single player uses:

1. Early game taming assistant: Send it to kill a fish or dodo and they'll carry it back to you with a golden glow, the dead animal will now give prime meat if harvested.

2. Early game "guard dog": They are weak and small like my pp, but instead of attacking bigger dinos they'll circle and dive bomb them instead, providing a good distraction while still rarely dying.

It stole 15 narcotics and it was level 1 to tame I can’t understand why they take so much to keep knocked out

If you wanna kill it let it dive at you and when you think you got it right shoot it (they can only move down when there diving)

They bring u fish that can be harvested for prime simply throw it of your shoulder at fish lystros dodo and trilogies and comps they will eat it and then bring to u if hunt and retrieve is on note pump melee

These birds are increadibly useful for gathering prime fish meat, all you need to do is tame one and whistle attack on sabertooth salmon and it will bring it the corpse back. Then you can harvest it with a metal sickle and you will get lots of prime fish meat.

The only effort of this seagull is it’s can farm fish which is ok and save time to farm fish,but after all I want to do the Seagull Genocide

Fun fact throw them at a dodo then harvest the golden ones with a spy glass for raw prime

The devs need to make it so you can get your stuff back if you kill them!

if you set them on hunt and retrieve, get them to kill dodo’s and then harvest them with metal pick. you get two prime pet dodo

When they bring stuff back it turns gold and always give prime meat for anything I’m pretty sure

Can be used to tame Hespornis and Otter much quicker as the fish they grab and kill receive a buff to taming effectiveness.

To tame, just take a crossbow and some tranq arrows, shoot it, and give it some meat. After being tamed, it will sit on you shoulder. If you ever need fish, double tap Y and whistle attack a fish. It will bring you that fish with +100% quality than if you had killed it with a spear, and faster than fishing with a rod. Pesky when wild, but useful when tamed.
