Bring extra narcs or narcoberries, these need more than the info says they do. I used more than twice the amount stated, but then again, I don’t want it waking up and attacking me.

Fill them with lead or if you want to tame it, dont use tranq arrows, use darts

Do NOT try to tranq a level 44 with a primitive crossbow, it killed instantly when I tried.

Do not use a ramshackle crossbow to tranq it, especially at low levels. You will kill it every time

These things are weak so use darts since it does less damage, easiest way to knock it out is to watch it until it comes down to steal your stuff then bola it head on. Worked every time for me. Also force feeding it a little meat will keep it from dying, that's what happened with me. Hope this was helpful.

A pain in the ass to tame but when tamed early game can help tame spinos, Baryonyx, basilosourus, and more.

Used a rare flower to lure it to a safe spot on shore. Threw a couple bolas then shot it with a tranq dart in the face, it was down instantly. EZ tame with fish or regular kibble, but will need some narcotics or narcoberries for higher levels. Use it to get good fish to tame otters and hesperonis with.

The taming time on raw fish meat is less then 6 hours.

They are hard to bola and even harder to shoot while in the air, so wait for them to land before trying anything. Once it’s on the ground you can bola it, and tranq it. If you don’t want to tame them and they are being annoying little buggers, you can just bola and kill ^^

All you do is:kill megalodon then harvest fish meat, bola your seagul, punch it then give it the needed fish and a few narcos and your good!

Split all your stacks of food while trying to bola it. That way if you miss, you only lose one good item at a time.

DO NOT USE ARROWS, the tool tip is wrong, it kills them. Use tranq darts.

Don't let it take your stuff it took my journeyman crossbow and I killed it but it didn't give it back like a pegomastax

DONT USE REGULAR FISH FOR ANY LEVEL. Find a Leeds (even baited via raft) scrape the fish, and tame your gull.

When taming, do NOT use a crossbow and tranq arrows, as it will die in one shot if under lv 30.

Ironic that their favorite kibble is pegomastax. Both little shoulder-pets like to steal stuff.

Their torpor is FAST so make sure you’ve got loads of narcotics😐 had him at 90% tamed and he woke up, stole my stuff, and flew straight into the mouth of a raptor.

Just use a crossbow and 2 tranq arrows after it finishes fishing.
