I COULDNT FIND A SINGLE ONE OF THESE GUYS. AM I TOO UNLUCKY

When I set out to tame one of these, I bring a storage or make one near the location of the bird, I put all my valuables that are on me & my flyer into storage(including the kibble) until it's knocked out. To avoid being robbed & having my things destroyed.

The way I tame mine was I had bolas in my hotbar and about 3 bolas just in cause. After I knocked it I put raw/fresh fish meat on it. Then I went out to the ocean and I killed some sharks with my thyla and hachet the sharks to get raw/fresh prime fish meat.( I was on Valguero and I was playing Primivite+.

Will eat fish meat and prim fish meat. Will not eat any type of raw meat

Bola it and don't use an mastercraft bow with high melee damage use tranqu darts and a long-neck

Never a good idea to tame these guys without a bola, they are pegomastix with wings and once they take food they eat it by the stack. If your weapon dissapears from your hands it is on the ground.

If u have good aim with em use a slingshot to knock 1 out the sky trust me it’s ez and fun they sometimes run into rocks remember get close to it and fire those rocks!

Tamed one, level 85 on Genesis. The regular kibble was giving about 8-9% each feed. Supposedly the 2x evo event was active aswell.

If you see one that you want to tame walking around on land, throw a tent on top of it, and get your bola ready. It can help keep them trapped. However they can escape if you're not quick enough with the bola, also they can destroy the tent if they start to attack it. I've tamed them many times this way, so it can be done.

Bola it, then use a slingshot to body shot it. Don't head shot it; it'll die within 5 hit of the slingshot. I used a crossbow and two headshots and dead. Use fists, sling, or boomerang to knock it out. Good luck, 2 2.5x Coels should suffice for the taming.

There is Ichthyornis kibble for mobile and the dossier for it but I don’t find any of those versions of seagulls that lived millions of years ago in real life. Only Pelagornises

I recommend taming a low level one first and then using it to get prime fish meat for a high level one.

Honestly a highly useful and interesting shoulder tame. Use darts and COOKED fish.

Just bola it, and use tranq arrow or dart, be careful on doing it tho because of their low health, i took level 24 using around 3-4 tranq arrow with 5 seconds each shot to make sure it wont die. And once it tamed, this pecker is amazing prime meat source, prime fish or normal prime meat. You can get prime meat from creatures sizes around dodo and lystro and you can get prime fish from any fish.

This will take a lot of time so use that to get fish and narco berries ( it only eats fish)

If over the water, use an aquatic or semi-aquatic mount you can stand on or shoot from, use a slingshot to piss them off and get them to chase you to shore.

As with most small tames… Darts are highly recommended as arrows might end up killing them.

I finally tamed this b***** and stupidly throw him off my and look away ten minutes later he’s in the ocean trying to kill a carbonmys

Snipe with a crossbow and off you tag one it will fly off and drop. Just hope it didn't steal the fish you were gonna use lolz

its can also eat cooked fish meat

Very hard to tame. Absolutely worth it though. I managed to tame one, and it's my primary source for meat and fish, especially prime.

But I've wasted 20+ tranq arrows with confirmed hits on a flying one, with the arrows sticking out on a level 24. Eventually I died.

So bola first. Or it must be a new bug.
