I'm surprised more people haven't tested these little guys. Last time I played was in 2018 and at that time I could take 8 breed doggies with a yuti and I could take out gigas with them.. the meat pack I had was only journeyman too.. never got around to trying them on bosses. Underestimated tame.

Just walk up to it and pet it. Simple

These are impossible to take if your server is too crowded with players. Their behavior causes them to teleport randomly, and their threat detection AI is way too sensitive. Broken on all official servers currently.

Make a box of gates and use and argy to drop them in.

I recommend watching Phlinger Phoo's taming pen video, he covers a really good one in it.

I use these guys to transfer 300 slot meat caps wherever i want they hold it and still run 100mph

If during taming the hyenodon get spooked and starts to run around just grab him with a ptera or argy and carry him around just a little, then drop. He’ll be calm and you colud pet him again.

P.S. this tame is a pain in the butt!

When taming,use full ghillie armor and take it on a place where you think there's no possible threat.Be VERY VERY careful not to touch them while petting or the taming proccess might restart. Also they can go through doorframes

This is not a knock out tame you have to crouch and pet it with Ghillie

Ghillie suit. Always stay crouched. Never touch them. If they run stay crouched but you will lose progress from last pet. The higher the level the less progress for each pet. Full ghillie suit not half ass. STAY LOW BE PATIENT OR YOU WONT TAME THEM.

The most amazing pack animal -warriorofthedays i think they are quite strong

I used this thing to transport my meat around my huge base and it works like a portable fridge. If u can, tame one.

When taming crouch down and keep a distance until ready to pet again! They run when you stand up or stay too close. Crouch down, pet and then back up for 30 seconds!

Make 2 tall pens, put 3 doggies in one, k.o the alpha, pick up one, put in small pen and keep petting til it’s yours. (Griffins can pick these guys up easily)

When you put it in a 2x2 stone dinosaur gate pen, they seem to not move often. Letting you get up to 5 pets in between moving periods.

Not very strong but give Exp, if all else fails, tame a ton for Troodon sacrifice.

Everyone says can't tame alpha. Kill pack, boom can tame alpha..

People are saying that the meat pack is like a Persirving bin when it increases them time like a frig

Make a box of walls with a hatch frame at the bottom, make sure there's enough space undernreath the crouch around and then pet it from below, usually they get stuck and u can stand still pressing 'pet', I've tried loads of methods but this one is the best by far.

If you run across a hyaenadon with stuck feet, tame it and upload it to a drop and it will run around like normal.
