On the islands hidden lake there’s always a few of them. Not only are their eggs good food but every now and then they’ll give you a golden egg. Perfect for leveling if you plant a base at hidden lake. Not to mention they keep that lake clear of piranhas for you! Don’t need to tame just grab the eggs

It has a High spawn around south zone. So it would be recommended taming them there

To guy that said these are in mobile, actually what you saw was a pelagornis, a seagull that can be found sitting ON the water

I was starting out and I killed one of these because they would attacking me then I saw two and tried to tame the female which I did but then it just deleted my save (one tip if you don’t want it to hurt you have a fish in your hands like your carrying a fish)

Alright so get this you just spawned in to your new ark console map and you see theese guys at the lake don’t kill them right away they could kill you but most importantly they drop organic polamer I would recommend kill them when you have the full ghilly suit available

This thing is pretty much a cross of a penguin and a swan, and are pretty cute. Not so useful combat-wise, since they’re slow and weak, but just nice to have. I use them to keep my dodos company. :)
