What are tips for hesperornis? Tips and strategies for hesperornis in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
Use a tec suit to tame. Put element in your inventory. Tec suit let's you breath underwater and can boost you through the water at high speed to get fish. I used a crossbow to kill sabertooth, then boost quickly to hesperonis to feed.
I killed the hesperonis I did not want to tame as these will kill the fish and make it difficult to find them.
I tamed them on extinction in the snow biome.
that is very danguros animal
How to get a hesp worry free in 10 minutes:
Clear the area of piranhas before you do ANYTHING. Dilos can also be an obstscle as they're annoying af.
Use a tame for travel that can move quickly in the water so that you can get fish asap (not baryonyx because they always destroy corpses). Don't waste time using any fish under 1X. Kill them instead and leave the corpses around so that the hesp doesn't wander too far. ^^^! -AK
To get fertilized eggs, they must be on wandering in water. They wouldnt mate onland, only when I put them in water. Just attach them to a hitching post in the water.
I find them mostly in small or pond size bodies of water . They generally spawn in the lake that connects to the swamp closest to the red avilus
Easy taming trap that helped me, got four back to back. 1 foundation, 4 window walls. Place foundation down and two walls up, hit hesperornis let it agro on you and lead it to foundation and trap it in with the remaining two window walls. Fed (through open window slot) it sabertooth salmon 1.0 and higher for faster tame.
I’m guessing these things aren’t on mobile which is a shame because I really wanted one.
add hesperornis to mobile spread the word
Unlike most small creatures aside from small carnivores, hesperonis will aggro if you punch them.....
Breeding seems to take about 28 hours.3.5hr egg 3hr baby.
These ducks spawn in small lakes or pond size bodies of water . I always find two or three in the lake that connects with the swamp on the southside of the map closest to the red avilus . Also beware of titanboa coming from hills and sarcos going into water . I suggest you take a bird and keep a close eye .
Taming tip: tame a male and female 150 giga, mate them, then trade the eggs for level 20 hesperonis.
Worst. Tame. Ever.
At least on Xbox, pressing Y to feed is near impossible, especially with a large fish. And if you are trying to tame it on land, and miss the feed with Y and drop the fish it will either A) be eaten by the hesp and give you no credit, or B) float into the air and not allow you to grab it again, even when targeting.
Solo taming a 145 spino and tried a 45 hesp while witing. Spino is almost done and I finally gave up after 3 salmon in a row floated away into orbit.
Basically they will attack you but aren’t very dangerous just make sure they don’t come by 10 or yeah… You might loose a lvl 200 Raptor 🥲🥲
Taming a high level is painstakingly slow, especially if her mate is lurking around. Only .5 to 2.0 % for a SALMON! I would rather poke my eyes with ice picks than tame another one. But seriously make a 1 foundation with 4 walls trap with ramps on both sides. Make sure you put a ladder in side as you will need to get out after you fed it. DO NOT use a door and doorframe as you may mistakenly open the door when trying to feed it and it can get out. Aggro the bird and lead it up and into the trap.
These give small amount of polymer. Instead of hunting these go look up Penguin spawns.
Make sure to clear the area because they are pretty low health and do 1 damage to other creatures
Is this in ark mobile update for no
We had a raft with walls all around it and the entrance was a door with some stairs so we ran into it with the door open and it went right in, then we just took turns bringing it fish, it took about 30 minutes and only escaped once.
