I still use crossbow, i just heal using snowowl once or twice depending on owl stam

Tips for taming an griffin in mobile

1. you need to be lvl 85+

2. you need 10+ allo kibble. If not enough 9 kibble and one prime meat will do

3. you need atleast one soothing balm or else you need over a 100 kibble

4. Do NOT use tranq arrows! You will kill it with arrows. Either darts or toxicant (but toxicant is the best of these 2)

5. you can trap a griffin like this: make a 2 by X big platform, place stonegates at every snap point, place 2 doorgates at the ends of each.

6. it has low stamina. I would recommend pumping stamina first and then attack.

These tips i got from more experienced player of the game and by myself. Pls like it so that everyone can see it

I'll use a tranq dart or two to get their attention and to lure them to a place I can build.

When I stop and turn to face them, I will use the harpoon gun/net projectile to drop them at my feet.

Then I'll put a 3 to 5 dino gate trap around them, with a door on each of the outer gates.

Then I start shooting tranqs at them and don't have to worry about roaming random dinos or argies killing them while I'm taming.

*Bonus: since I can use an exo mek, I pick up my trap when I'm done.

FOR MOBILE PLAYERS! To tame a griffin, u MUST have its respect, 3 ways u can get it is by wearing the Royale crown from the store,or being level 85 to 95 or sharing the last letters in ur name and the griffins name. The best food for them is griffin kibble (cannibles) but u can only get the eggs by breeding griffins that share the same last letters in their names

Griffins aren’t as hard as their cracked up to be honestly. I mocked out a griffin and almost a second higher level one in less than 15 minutes. The only reason I couldn’t get the higher level is because it flew away and all I had was an Argie (Which are slower than griffins) but all I did was fly out and attack them with my Argie and flew to a flat area they followed me and my Argie is only a 105 but he’s a absolute tank.

But anyway he took the hits easily and while they circled to attack him I shot them with tranq arrows. I fell like they are better than darts because darts are so expensive for some people. But if you have a Bronto and an Anky than you can get alot of darts easy I can if I want just lazy lol.

But you should be able to take the hits with flak they also have a big turn radius so it makes it even easier to tame.

If they start to run just go ahead of where they are going and land and shoot. But if you can I like to just get around lots of rocks on a flat hill or plateau or something but alot of rocks and alot of space. With these conditions they should get hung up on the rocks so you can just shoot them while they are stuck. Anyway this is my first of many post so please hit the (up) ^ arrow. Easy 7 step tame:

1. Find one you want.

2. Hit it with a traq dart. ( then it comes to you)

3. Quickly Net it.

4. Knock it out with tranq darts.

5. Give it kibble or meat.

6. Patiently wait.

7. Tamed Griffin.

I would trap it by using 1 foundation 1 beam 1 secret stone wall and one ramp if you don’t know how to build this model it after other peoples traps in the area it is very similar to the argy trap just get it inside and open the secret door

Go to the beaver dam spot in vannaland I find plenty of them there.

Use DARTS and mutton or prime. Meat on a 145 spoils very quickly even in 2x so keep flying around killing rexes and alphas for more meat. You can kite him if you're on a flyer using the trap (YT Nooblets video). Just fly in a circle cutting the corner really sharp and he will fly inside. And for the love of gob, please unlock your gateway so other people can actually tame them instead of spamming the mountain with traps!

If your Griffin has les than 3000hp above lvl 120 then you have to use darts. Also best way to tranq them with a crossbow is shoot and when it says tranq arrow has been consumed wait for it to dissappear then shoot

Make a trap with about 5 stone gates frames and 1 gate on both sides and lure it in then use tranq darts for ko

If u have a argyle the griffin will go after it and u can knock It out while it busy killing ur argy

Argy taps works just fine (3 Dino gate frames and 2 Dino gates) 👍🏻 So people see

Kill low level finds for high levels, the low ones ain’t worth it, and once u have a good trap they r easy

you’ll need to build a trap. These guys are extremely fast I tried without a trap and well died, trap is easy to do make sure it’s stone tho. These guys are good flyers yet there damage I couldn’t say the same.
