Mobile players: easyest way to tame is be above 85-level(requires Allosaurus kibble) or alot of meat and legit took me 7 hours to tame one irl time i started at midnite needless to say it took me till 7am to tame it ...... with out kibble tho on the plus side, ingredients for Kibble, 1 prime meat cooked,3 fiber,three Maj berries water,one allo egg, 3 wood I'm not sure if it takes would but I think that's just for the fuel

When taming in mobile, take note of the following:

>It will only respect you if you either have the gold crown skin from the primal pass, if you're level 85 and above, or if the last 2-3 letters of your name are the same as the Griffin's

>Use the same taming pen used for Argentavis (4-6 dino gates with doors on each end to trap it)

>ALWAYS use soothing balm + it's preferred kibble (Allosaurus/Griffin) when taming it unless you want to spend the next 2-6 hours on

>Never go outside of the rendering range if you don't want it to suddenly despawn

When taming it on a mountainside get 4 dino gates and pillars and foundations and walls and finaly roofs

The best way in my opinion to catch a griffin is to yield a trap buil a. Structure large enough to fit the griffin. Use sliding doors. Hit the griffin then lead it inside the structure shut the doors and from there you can easily knock it out with tranc darts. But please do not use this method to Kill griffins.

Tranq’d lvl 30. Info said 7 allo kibble. Followed starvation timer and gave a soothing balm. 7 was not enough. Went back and got 7 more...all I had left. Still not enough. Click up so this is fixed plz!

These things take way more tranqs than dodoex suggests. Took me approx 200 tranq arrows (5 - 10 second interval between shots) to tame a lvl 193

When tanlming make 6 stone dino gateways with a gate at the end then shoot them with tranq darts/arrows like it killed your best tames.

Keep them agro to something else and shoot at them! They are found in a ravine on crystal isles. They are found more in the mountains, these are easy to tame if you knock it out and then put spikes around it but make enough room for your other tame.

We so want these to be breedable even if nerfed!

Make a trap (with stone, leave gaps) with 2 gates on each end. Lead it into the trap with Argy. Go out other gate with Argy. Shoot Griffin with tranqs through gaps in trap. There you go!

To KO them without a trap, all you need to do is either ride a fast tame, or upgrade your movement speed. If they are chasing you, they follow you in a straight line until their torpor rises. By getting them to chase you by aggroing them, once you get far enough away, start shooting them with tranq arrows/darts/etc. This method allows you to get hits in them without the use of a trap, or taking too much damage if you do it correctly.

Just five stone doorways in a row, two doors, one on either end, get an iguanodon. Get it to chase you, as you pass second gate, hop off and close it, it gets stuck run round and shut other, boom!!

Use tranq arrows but bring a snow owl with you to heal during knock out

On mobile, these guys are a pain in the butt to tame, first, you have to trap ‘em, which is already difficult, then the easy bit is knocking them out, and then there’s getting 100 allo kibble while keeping them out, AND THAT ONLY DOES 1.1%

These guys are tough and can take out a lv90 suvivor in a few hits, have a flying creatures, lure em into a trap, shoot em a few times til they're knocked out then feed them raw mutton, while giving them narcotics (1000) over time, to tame em, it takes a while so be patient
