A good idea is to get an egg farm of lystros as lystrosaurus kibble is used for diplodocus kibble that is used for allos then you use that allo kibble for the griffin. Easy way to work your way up the ladder to get you lots of griffins and allos for PvP.

Use a a three wide stone trap with Dino gate to trap add pillars at the end so a ptera can get through but the griffin can, similar to a wyvern trap.

The easiest way is to build a trap about a 5x5 stone building made of doorframes with one end having a stone dinosaur gate get one person to fly in and trap it (to get out break one of the bottom doorframes a ptera can fly through this the other person run up behind and shut the gate

Build a cage of stone doors and trnk it on there

Bring lots of trans, I had a Griffin with 9000 torpidity once, and I suggest leading them to a cage or a cave to more easily trap them and tame them since they like flying high. They also get low to try and get you as well.

Use a crossbow and tranq arrows instead of a rifle, you will miss a lot so its better to have cheap ammo, also because you don't need a saddle to ride the griffin, you can get your tribe together early-game and slingshot the crap out of it.

Making a trap for the griffin will be much easier than chasing down in the bird in the wild

Build a taming pin to tame it and make it out of stone

They don't require a saddle and they sit two people! Enjoy bare-backing this beast, as well as being able to use a weapon!

Basic taming vessel and a little positioning and they will fly right in for a leisure tranq and tame.

The easiest way to tame this beauty is to cage it. It can fit throw a Dinogate so build a trap and tame some of this fantastic creatures.

This creature is one of the fastest, faster than a wyvern. Tame it using a taming pen similar to a agry taming pen. It's Torpor depletes really fast, tame it using mutton, prime meat tame takes a lot of narcotics and time. I have usually seen them in packs so be careful?. I hope this information helps you

Has a poor turning radius so you can tame it outside of a cage pretty easily as long as you are using shocking tranq darts

If you think knocking and trapping the griff is hard, think again. Know that without allo kibble you’ll sit there for actual hours. I’ve had a griff tame for 9+. I had to go to sleep and somehow it didn’t wake. Just be prepared.
