Stories Tips

What are some stories about the glowtail? Memorable glowtail stories, wild encounters, and fan fiction.
I think the Half Life games may be a bit worse than WWZ. The zombies in Half Life have visible spines and torn open chests with organs visible. They also have a creature called a headcrab (they’re basically what create zombies by attaching themselves to peoples heads and turning them into zombies) attached to there head. The headcrabs can be removed, revealing that the top of the head has been chewed off and the brain is visible. Enemies can also be blown up into a graphic display of blood, bones and body parts. The aftermath leaves a few organs and limbs spread out across the floor. But it’s only bad if you play the remake, black Mesa, which is from 2012. The original is from 1998. Half Life 2 is less graphic, enemies can’t be blown up but the amount of blood is really high, like, there’s tons of it. The zombies look more grim, their chests are more open and all organs and the ribcage are visible, but the spine isn’t if you look behind. There are also special, faster .zombies which appear to have been skinned and had all organs removed. There’s also a poisonous zombie which also appears to have been skinned. It’s spine is visible as well. The Ravensholm level in Half Life 2 is incredibly violent. It’s set in an abandoned town where everybody has been slaughtered and turned into zombies. The moment you enter you see a tree with the lower half of a human hanging off it, with the upper half lying on the ground next to it. You can also find mutilated corpses scattered throughout the buildings, bodies which have been sliced in half are quite common as well. You can pick up circular saws and throw them at zombies, slicing them in half and splattering blood everywhere. There’s also one scene were you find an electric fence with a burnt and bloody corpse nailed to it, constantly shaking from being electrocuted, even though they are long dead, quite disturbing. Another scene shows a huge mound of dirt which is constantly burning with many corpses lying on it, with some impaled and spikes of wood. This bit is disturbing as well. Zombies can also be set on fire, they will continuously scream for help as they slowly burn and collapse, they will then continue burning even after death. There’s also a hospital scene were you find lots of bloody bodies lying on tables or on chairs, all of them covered in blood with their chests ripped open, quite unpleasant.
Overall, probably a bit worse than WWZ.

Just in case the thing didn’t post about the shadow thing on subnautica, I’ll just repost it.
The shadow thing is normal, and is part of the story. It’ll appear again in the active lava zone (around 1400 meters.) so don’t worry about it, just part of the story of something you’ll meet in the alien base at the active lava zone. Also, find the entrance to the lava castle at the inactive lava zone (around 1200 meters.) and if your confused about the lava castle when you get there, it’s in the middle of the inactive lava zone, the huge rock formation. Find the entrance, explore it (maybe grab some kyanite while your there too) until you find the alien base hidden in that place. Don’t worry about bringing ion cubes, there is already a ion cube fabricator there (requires drill arm for PRAWN.) but scan the blue ion tablet and make another one of those. After that, find the portal which leads to the alien gun. And I forgot to mention, once you get depth module MK II for PRAWN, bring a purple ion table. You need it in the lava castle alien base to learn ion batteries and ion power cells. (required for rocket to complete game.) This should be everything you need to know at this point, so use it wisely. Oh yeah, make sure you have a grapple arm for your PRAWN suit to go fast.

I had a strange dream, (this most likely doesn’t mean anything.) and this what I remember:
I headed outside and then I felt something on my neck. I was terrified, knowing it was the wolf spider. Then after that I was walking on both legs and hands??? Strange dream, but if this was real life... I would be beyond terrified because of my arachnophobia. Though, if your wondering, it’s mostly real life spiders, video game spiders aren’t really spooky.

Umm lamprey? Take no offense from this because it is just a question, but when you told apex about Undertale you mentioned the lesbian couple and then said "Aside from that it's a great game" do you not like lgtbq+ or something?
-no name (take no offense and you do not have to answer this)
Part 1: The beginning
If you do plan on getting genesis, here’s what you should know:
Genesis is hard. Starting out in the bog is almost necessary, due to the arctic being extremely cold (I have an otter with over 500 melee and I can reach freezing point at high places, other than that my character is fine.) Genesis is full of high lvls, and the special X-Creatures. X-creatures are a pain to tame, because they have a damage reduction meaning more tranqs. I lvl 145 takes over 250 tranq arrows. It’s more of the start, when your starting in the bog make a bow and cloth armour, then go straight for metal. There’s a metal cavern with a few dangerous creatures at the “another bog hunt” mission. Or you could find metal yourself. That’s for starting, heres the mission types and what you should have.
Part 2: missions
The missions can be fun. The types of missions are:
Track and hunt
Find and retrieve
Defend the creature
And fishing.
You should do these missions, as they train you for the final boss, corrupted master controller. The track and hunt missions are very fun, don’t get me wrong, but it’s annoying just following the foot prints. They glow red in bushes or hard to find areas, but sometimes if you miss a foot print you have to back track for the brute creature to spawn, or for more tracks to find. You can do gamma with a decent creature, but for beta you want multiple rexes, I brought some which had either 15000 hp, or 20000 hp, over 1000% damage, or over 600. Rexes managed to die during the fight on beta, so if your doing alpha bring your mutated rexes or whatever creatures your using, because your gonna need it.
Find and retrieve missions are fun. You have to fight your way through many creatures to the objective, where you and your creature must then destroy the thing that has what you need, and then dismount and grab it. When you dismount, make sure the area is cleared, but more will spawn. Once you have what you need, you have about 2 minutes to get out of there before you fail the mission. Oh yeah also when your escaping creatures might block the way.
Defend the creature mission are good missions to. Again, like the track and hunt missions bring decent Dinos for gamma, decent Dinos for beta, and mutated ones for alpha. On gamma you get a huge damage boost, on beta you get no damage boost, and I think on alpha you get a small damage reduction debuff. You need to defend the creature as it can only take so many hits before death. Creatures will keep spawning and try to kill the creature, but you have to defend. Simple but decently hard missions.
Fishing missions are really boring and barely give any hexagons, which is the currency you can use to purchase materials from mini-HLNA. Overall pretty good DLC, the start is a bit annoying but if you get a decent creature you should be fine.

Another game that I would recommend is “Undertale.” Undertale is about monsters trapped in a huge cave, with the main character, a human, falling in to the cave. Its a bullet hell game but it’s easier than cup heads. It also has good characters and a decently long story. And another thing, there is a successful lesbian couple, they don’t kiss or anything, but they almost do on pacifist ending. Other than that it’s a great game.

So I started playing Doom and Doom 2 again, they’re very good games, and packed with crazy monsters to fight, so I thought I’d rank all 17 monsters from weakest to most ridiculously overpowered.
17. Zombie: Super easy to kill monster, armed with a rifle that fires one weak shot at a time. Two shots from a pistol or one shot from a shotgun and they fall over dead with blood pouring outta their chest (literally).
16. Shotgun Zombie: Basically the zombie but with more health and a shotgun, recommended to use a shotgun because it’ll bring it down with one shot.
15. Imp: The weakest non-zombie enemy, Imps are relatively easy to kill, recommended to use a shotgun as a pistol takes to long to kill them with. Their main weapon is a fireball that they throw at you but they can do deadly melee attacks as well.
14. Heavy Weapon Zombie: Basically a zombie but stronger and it carries a chaingun. This thing is pretty dangerous and should probably be dealt with using a shotgun.
13. Pinky: Big and brutish monster that is, as the name suggests, pink. They’re fast moving and deal a small amount of damage with their vicious bites. The shotgun is best for dealing with these things.
12. Spectre: The Spectre is identical to the Pinky, apart from one thing, they’re invisible, which makes them ridiculously frustrating to kill.
11. Lost Soul: This monster is a flying skull, which makes it an annoying enemy, they can charge at you and angrily bite you, but what makes them so annoying is that they take at least 3 shotgun shots to kill, and they normally come in groups as well.
10. Pain Elemental: a giant, floating brown ball with horns. This nightmare is a pain to kill and even worse, it’s only method of attack is spitting Lost Souls at you, making them a nightmare.
9. Revenant: A skeleton wearing a chest plate with rocket launchers attached to its shoulder, sounds bad? It really is. These things are pretty annoying to kill, especially with their rocket launchers. A rocket launcher can kill a Revenant with one hit, but the Super Shotgun is good as well.
8. Cacodemon: a giant, floating red ball with a big eye, they also shoot balls of lightning from their mouths. These are nightmares to kill as shotgun hardly hurts them, but the rocket launcher and chaingun can quickly kill them.
7. Hell Knight: A giant Minotaur that throws fireballs, these things are quite hard to kill but the Super Shotgun can quickly deal with them, but the Rocket Launcher and Plasma Gun also works.
6. Arch-Vile: A tall monster with a lot of health that summons monsters and revives dead ones. They’re pretty annoying and have the ability to set you on fire, dealing a lot of damage. However, they can quickly be killed with the Super Shotgun.
5. Mancubus: A big ugly fat thing with flamethrowers for hands. These things are quite strong and take a while to kill, Powerful weapons are recommended for killing these things.
4. Arachnotron: A nightmare. It’s a giant robot spider that has a brain (with a face attached to it) stuck on top of it. They also have a plasma gun stuck to them, making them a dangerous enemy, they also have a lot of health and take heavy weapons to kill.
3. Baron of Hell: The Hell Knight but red and a lot stronger, you have to fight 2 of these things as the boss battle for part 1 of Doom. They’re really powerful and take powerful weapons like Rocket Launchers to kill. They also appear in later parts of the game as mini-bosses.
2. Cyberdemon: A giant Minotaur with rocket launchers for hands and lots of health, this is the boss of Part 2 and a complete nightmare to kill. It can pretty much only be killed with a rocket launcher or stronger weapons.
1. Spider Mastermind: The arachnotron but way bigger with a chaingun instead of a plasma gun. This thing is the final boss and is so over powered it’s the only reason I haven’t finished Doom yet.

If your looking for games to play, I recommend cup heads. It’s a decently hard bullet hell game with a decent story and characters. It’s set in a cartoonish world where the main characters, cup head and mug man find the devil’s casino. After playing a bit in the casino, the Devil offered the entire casino if he striked another thing. (forgot what it was) Now, because Mug man has a brain and cup head is immature, Cup head dropped the dice and didn’t strike what he was supposed to get. Eventually the devil made a deal where if they get enough soul contracts the Devil won’t have to take their souls. Pretty fun game, yet decently hard. Oh yeah it’s rated E so it’s probably around 8-10+ in your area.

Hmm, well I guess a lot of games these days are violent, it's just a matter of how violent. If you can play certain violent games I will recommend some and some non-violent. 1. Vigor 2. Human fall flat 3. fallout (any of them) 4. Dead by Daylight 5. Minecraft. Well thats all I have right now apex! So bye!

I need more games to play. I’m getting bored of replaying games and I need some new ones. I want to play the new Doom games but my dad won’t let me. I also want to play Call of Duty but apparently ‘there not the best games to play at the moment’, I’m guessing that’s because they’re intense war games and intense games aren’t the best games to play at the moment. And for some reason Ark has become less appealing and I’m starting to enjoy it less, but I don’t know why, maybe it’s because I’m getting into FPS games and action adventure games. And to be honest, I really can’t be bothered waiting till November for Halo: Infinite.

I was bored so I did this:
Every Halo game ranked from worst to best in my opinion (by the way, I have not played Halo 5 or the halo wars games, so they aren’t on this list)
6: Halo 4. It had some fun parts, and I generally enjoyed the bits that had the covenant in, but I think it was let down by having the prometheans as the main enemies. Overall: 6/10
5: Halo 3: ODST. This one was quite good, but the fact you don’t play as a Spartan makes the combat harder, sometimes to the point where I just get annoyed with it, apart from that, it was ok. Overall: 6/10
4: Halo: Combat Evolved. I know it probably sounds ridiculous putting the first game so low on the list, but I have a good reason for it. The game starts of fun and enjoyable, but once you reach the level ‘343 Guilty Spark’ and the flood are introduced, the game gets harder, and I start to get annoyed. The last level is my least favourite part, the bit where you are escaping the ship in a warthog is ridiculously hard and I haven’t even completed it, so I don’t even know how the freaking game ends! First half: 8/10. Second half: 7/10
3: Halo 3. This one is more enjoyable than the first in my opinion, and one of the best Halo games. The brutes are fun enemies to fight and are a welcome change to the elites of the previous two games. I really like the new vehicles and weapons that were added to the game along with the brutes. The only part I don’t like is the flood. The addition of the more powerful ‘pure forms’ make an already hard enemy even harder, and at times I really can’t be bothered fighting flood because of this. Overall: 8/10
2: Halo 2. This game is great, I think it’s a big improvement over Halo:CE and is much more enjoyable. The addition of dual wielding makes the game really fun and the battle rifle and SMG are great new weapons. The Brutes are challenging endgame enemies (but not too challenging) and made the last levels harder in a good way. My absolute favourite part is the Arbiter, and playing as him is one of the highlights of the Halo series for me. Overall: 9/10
1: Halo Reach. This is by far my favourite halo game and was my introduction to the series, and I will always love it for that. The combat is fun all the way through and i love some of the weapons that are exclusive to this game, like the plasma repeater and DMR (is DMR In Halo 4? I can’t really remember). This game is so different from all the others and that’s why I like it so much. It’s not different in a bad way like ODST, it’s different in a good way. Being able to fight in a team with the rest of Noble team makes things more fun for me. Overall, this is my favourite halo game and along with halo 2, it’s one of my favourite games ever. 9/10
