Stories Tips

What are some stories about the glowtail? Memorable glowtail stories, wild encounters, and fan fiction.
This is random, but if you get teleported out of your
PRAWN or sea moth then don’t try to attack the Warper because he will most likely one shot you. When this first happened to me, I didn’t approve and was like “I’m going to destroy you!” but he was like “no you” and one shotted me. You probably already know this though. If your curious about the location, it was at the grand reef, about 300 meters down or around that.

I just realized I forgot to add something. Once you power up your cyclops, I would highly suggest using the blood kelp entrance as it is the most cyclops friendly entrance. It is very easy to spot, and if you do think you need guide, Fire spark made a video of him getting there in five minutes, showing that it is the quickest route. Though if your in deep water at night doesn’t spook you, then feel free to go there at night.

You could try to go get the prawn suit back, if it’s not 900 meters deep. (I assume your sea moth has depth mk III) I never really had any problems with the ghost leviathan when I was in my PRAWN, if it attacked me I would just follow it and attack it with my drill until it swims away. The sea dragon was more aggressive than I thought it was, but the only time it actually grabbed me in its mouth I attacked it with my drill and it let me go. If you have the grapple arm, which you should by this point, you can try to fling yourself away. Also sea dragon isn’t really accurate with his aim, so I wouldn’t really worry about the fire balls. But also, which entrance did you take? I took the northern blood kelp entrance, as it is the easiest (bit spooky at night, also forgot to say to bring a good amount of water to the lost river.) entrance. The only things that should most likely be a bit spooky is heading straight down into the water, or not being able to see the bottom of the water, and don’t worry about being spooked by the reaper leviathan, they spook me too. So I always try to find a way to get the things I need without having a reaper in the area. And if the other two leviathans do spook you, they aren’t as dangerous (except for the sea dragon who may bite and hit your cyclops or PRAWN.) but it is possible to get cured and do everything without the cyclops up until the Neptune escape rocket. And if you do have trouble with power with your PRAWN in the lava zone, I would highly suggest getting the module (forgot it’s name) that gives you power in hot areas, and I think for it to work has to be atleast 50 degrees Celsius, but the lava zone can have higher temperature. And finally, when you get to the lava zone, go straight for the lava castle, or the huge rock formation in the middle of the lava zone, and find the entrance. Then explore that area a bit until you find the alien base, which is required to get cured. Also, don’t worry about bringing any ion cubes, because there is a ion cube fabricator at the base, which you should use to activate the portal so you don’t have to keep taking the lost river entrance. (The portal in the alien thermal plant base leads to the enforcement platform. Some say there are reapers there, but I think they are behind the island, because I have not encountered one, or maybe they are deeper.) but yes, I would try to get the PRAWN back, as it is very essential to complete the game.

Something bad happened. While I was playing Subnautica, I jumped into the area with the sea emperor, and the game didn’t load any water. So I saved because I hadn’t saved in a long time, and I had to re-log. The glitch was still there. I killed my character, and that seemed to fix it. But my PRAWN suit was still glitched. Now I can’t use it and I like to use it because it makes me feel much safer than I am in the sea moth. Well, at least I was able to get cured and do everything with the prawn. Seems that you have to make a cyclops to actually complete the game, because the Neptune escape rocket needs the cyclops shield which can only be made in the cyclops. I may have to make another PRAWN suit, because I did take the batteries and all the upgrades, including the grapple and drill arm. Not really happy that I can’t use my PRAWN suit anymore.

Oh cool, you play subnautica. It’s one of my favourite games, I’m doing pretty well so far, still struggling to get to the lava zone, well, I’ve gotten there, but only in my PRAWN suit, and I’ve decided that I need my cyclops, cause some stupid sea dragon decided my PRAWN looked like food and ate it, and me. I went to my cyclops after rebuilding the PRAWN, only to discover i hadn’t turned it off since the last time I’d been in it, so it was out of power. I went back to the lost river in my PRAWN, but when I exited to scan a weird fish, I was eaten by a ghost leviathan, so now my PRAWN is stuck in the lost river. I would use my seamoth to gather resources to make new power cells for my cyclops, but that was recently destroyed by a reaper leviathan, the source of my nightmares (along with the reapers from ark). So now I’m kinda stuck. Maybe I should try to get my PRAWN back, or is that too risky?

Ok so, I did get to the lava zone and got to the alien lava castle, or whatever it’s called. I don’t think I will write about it, but I will write about escaping the planet. Basically what happened that’s important: found alien building at around 1240 meters, explored it and found blue tablet. Found the hole to the cave, and a bit before I found the building a sea dragon attacked me and grabbed me with its mouth. Used my drill and it let me go. Once I got down 1400 meters, another sea dragon leviathan attacked me. Basically everything that was important.
