1) Bring Fertilized eggs with you try for a bigger Dino egg to be safe, you might need about 2-4

2) Drop egg close to nest but make sure its far enough away so that the Gigantoraptor will come out and won't aggro you while you are in the nest

3) Run into nest and "hide" in the nest and wait for baby to come into the nest

4) Mirror the movements of the baby

5) Repeat until tamed

Another thing you can do is bring a friend to pick up the mom with a Rhynio and you can the baby with no issues, I just wouldn't kill the mom as it might affect the taming process.

Last tip: Once tamed pluck feathers as they can be used in breeding to get higher Stat of parents

They share spawns with therezinos, if you don't find one, mass murder theries

If you already have an adult g-raptor, go kill the wild parent and then run up to the orphaned baby while you’re on your g-raptor, until you’re close enough to imprint on it, just like a normal wild orphaned Dino. The g-raptor allows you to imprint on wild dinos and also gives a small tame boost

Somehow was able to tame a baby by aggroing the mom and lure it to fall from cliff. But the minigame was already begun before that. I ran out of eggs and tried just out of curiosity and it worked. Baby kept coming back to play despite of mom not able to come back to nest anymore. Nest wasn’t too far from edge and drop wasn’t too high either so maybe mom was still near or the taming process couldn’t turn off anymore after it was going on.

Taming 3x already without ghillie and eggs,, just use ptera to lure it somewhere nearby, make it busy like fighting with dilo or something. Just make sure it won't die, after that run to the nest and hide in it, if the battle music still on then it still chasing you but if the music are off then it's successful and it won't hunt ya again, ah and no need to get out from the nest each time you succeed on copying the baby movements, momy won't disturb ya either 👍

To tame:

- Give eggs to mother Gigantoraptor to distract her

- Sneak into nest

- Repeat baby emotes to earn trust

- Run for your life

- Incubate eggs

- Baby feeding (like Maewing)

- Run around 🤣

Trust me on this, ur gonna wanna use diplo eggs. The tame went bey in under four eggs eaten

Just sneak into the nest. Eggs aren’t necessary. Also must allow the parent to be free to come back and touch the nest. Then imprint on the little baby darling 🤣

I have found that placing several fertilized eggs close to the nest before you start the taming process works best. I have also found that ghillie is not needed when taming!

Trapping the parent, or surrounding the nest with walls, no longer works. The parent MUST have access to the nest.

Don’t kill its parents to imprint the baby the baby will be frozen and can not be imprinted

If you already have a gigantoraptor you can imprint the little ones if the parent is dead and if bonded fully they work really well as pack creatures

It can also be done with argy eggs (they were fertilized)

You don't need ghillie but you also can wear any armour because it will hear it I don't it with no armour just a tek helmet and it still works

If you already have one adult Giganoraptor, you can also tame the baby by killing the parent, using giganoraptor’s imprint ability, then imprinting on the baby. I don’t think it gives it as many levels as using the minigame way would though

If it’s fed and satisfied you can tame it without using anymore eggs

Clear Area of hostiles, land flyer/dino on rock away from area, run into nest and start taming. Aslong as no tribemates, or other players come by and take moms agro, should be able to tame with ease as mother is just walking on nest not attacking, no need for eggs, traps or friends. If someone comes by as your taming and grabs mom agro it will stop taming until they leave or hostile is eleminated.

1 locate the Dino

2 drop a large egg *at moment thunk just fert*

3 wait for mother to go over to egg

4 go over to nest and jump in

5 repeat and mock what emote the baby dose

6 run with baby *or cryo pod it*

How to tame:

1. Get large feet eggs, Brontos, Gigas and Carcha works best

2. Find a nest

3. Throw an egg far from nest, but in range of parent

4. While parent is busy eating, get close to nest, crouch and press E to hide in nest

5. Wait for baby to come by and do a dance, use A/S/D to copy baby movements

6. Repeat

Extra tip: a trap can be used to trap the parent, but be aware it needs to be in range of the nest!

To tame this dino, you need to entretain the father or mother with a rex or giganoto egg fertilized and enter in the nest and play with the baby..
